BOARD TECHNICAL ISSUES Update

We are aware of the problems many of you have had recently with regard to accessing our message boards; you aren't alone we're experiencing them as well! Reports of frozen screens, "spinning" icons, website not responding messages as well as the dreaded "database error" have not been uncommon.

 

We're working on a few scenarios to tweak performance and fix the above issues. Hopefully we can get things quickly back to normal.

 

AS ALWAYS -- and I cannot state that clearly enough -- we appreciate those of you who have been patient as we work through these issues.

 

When I have new information, I will post it here.

I actually received six copies of your post and four copies of Rev Neal's. It is getting quite ridiculous and very frustrating especially as we have only just changed from dial up to broadband a month or so ago. I was expecting great things with the speed but have been disappointed.

Have you found that your broadband is faster for surfing in general, with just CC being a slowpoke, or is everything disappointing? :rolleyes:

It's about 12:15am EST & I'm having no trouble at all tonight. Things are working just fine. :)

Yes, the broadband is faster for surfing in general it has just been C.C. that has been so slow. I must admit it has been a lot quicker today. It is now 5pm and has been great all day and I haven't received any multiple copies.

It could be that the boards are running better now due to the Search function being suspended. Then again ...

I seem to remember "searching" for something about a week or so ago & not being able to use that function. Didn't think too much of it at the time. Actually thought it was me, not using it correctly. :rolleyes:
