I'd like to book a whale watching excursion with FISHES and went on their website. Am I correct to assume that you can't book it online, only by writing to them and sending them a check?

That's correct - you can only book by emailing them and then sending a check for the deposit. You pay the balance in cash on the day of your tour. They do not take credit cards.

Make sure you call them first... many of their days are already booked up for the summer. I called them in January about an August date, and they only had two slots that were not already taken (we took them).

We booked them for September. We sent the check and received a receipt by mail.

 

There are 4 of us that booked. Does he usually add a couple more, as his web site says "up to 6 persons".

They book fully as needed, and with Floyd so popular, many of his trips sell out.
