Hi everyone! I would definitely be interested in this group! I've really wanted to sail the Miracle and we live in NJ so that's another plus. It would be me, my boyfriend and my 2 children (20 and 17). We're sailing on the Glory August 9. Cannot wait! We tried Princess two times and thought the ships were very elegant and liked the fresh-water pools but we really love Carnival and thought the food on Carnival was much better.

Susie - Are NYC schools off next week instead of this week (I know Passover is next week)? Our kids are off this week upstate.

Yup! NYC schools are out next week for Passover - I will be heading to Miami Thursday afternoon (taking an extra day) and will be sailing on the Freedom out of Miami to Half Moon Cay, San Juan, St. Thomas and Grand Turk!

 

It's a CC group cruise - so lots to look forward too!

Got an email from the group cruise manager who said we've sparked enough interest for the next step - CC is contacting several agencies for proposals -

 

looks like we're real close to being OFFICIAL!!!!

We are tentatively looking to do this cruise 5/8/09 because its $2400 cheaper for 2 cabins to do it in May instead of July but if the price comes down for a group rate, its a possibility for us.

 

We are doing our first cruise on 6/1/08 (Legend to W. Caribbean) and already can't wait to plan the next one! It will definitely be the Miracle new itinerary, either 5/8/09 or this one.

This is exciting! We have never gone on a CC cruise before and the idea of meeting so many people from the board sounds like fun! May even make the school year go quickly! Does the group get Tshirts made? (So we know who we are?)
