Its already been bought.

Give credit to Landrys for they have been trying

to make things happen for a couple of years.

I won"t repeat the issues but they are documented here.

Work has begun:D

Ramp from Seawall to pier has been torn down, area underneath is blocked so no one gets hurt while demo and work taking place. At some times one lane will be blocked on Seawall going East during construction.

Landry's struggled to transfer ownership based on a workmans comp claim against the prior owner for years (I'd stand to be corrected on that, but I think I am right) and now the work has begun.

 

Landry's might draw a share of critics, but any amount of improvement on that structure is going to be a good thing.

 

Now a few in city leadership want parking meters/permits for Seawall Blvd parking... that's a disaster.
