I have avoided this line for a few reasons and will be interested in you comments after the cruise.

I must admit the service they have is to my liking. Yesterday at the pride fest in Philly I met a drop dead gorgeous guy...built like...well you know. It seems he had been a casino dealer on the Crystal ships and is now in Atlatic city. If thats any indication of the crew.....I might have to reconsider sailing on this line. Shallow...no, but eye candy is one luxury that is not fattening!

I am sailing on the previous cruise, leaving 10/24 and returning on 10/31, so our paths will cross in the port. I have sailed on Crystal for many years. In fact, this will be my second Crystal cruise this year. I have always had a great time, met great people, and have always felt very welcome on board. I have never sailed on a 7-day Crystal cruise, which seems to be unusually short for Crystal. Their usual cruise length is 10-14 days+/-. But I am sure it will be as great as ever, albeit in a much reduced time frame.

We sailed Crystal for the first time this past June (SF to Alaska). After a few too many cruises on the mainstream lines, we were blown away by Crystal's entire product. Look for the deals, just like you've already done with the 7-day Caribbean sailings you're all going on. Very much worth the slight price increase IMHO.
