Caliber1 Posted August 22, 2008 #27 Share Posted August 22, 2008 Nothing wrong with a pink shirt. Donated to the Susan Komen Foundation for breast cancer while on the Freedom in April and received a t-shirt with a pink ribbon on it. I wear it proudly as my Mother passed from breast cancer last August and in a way, that T is in honor of her. I do have one of those, and wore it proudly. We refer to them as Pennsyltucky-ites. :D LMFFAO Kelz. :D https://www.californiaharleydavidson.com/sc_images/products/787_large_image.jpg :D Yeah, that figures, look where they are. ;)

Drew's Wife Posted August 22, 2008 #29 Share Posted August 22, 2008 DH will wear pink with no problem. He usually wears with with his gray suit, or navy, and co-ordinating ties. Looks wonderful. He has shirts in all the "ice cream colors" and with his tan, he always looks great!:)
GottaLuvCruising Posted August 22, 2008 #30 Share Posted August 22, 2008 My husband will not wear pink. I bought him a nice soft-pink dress shirt to wear with his grey suit...nothing doing. It stayed on a hanger in his closet for years, but never touched his skin.
babyher Posted August 22, 2008 #31 Share Posted August 22, 2008 Years ago when the Ralph Lauren "Polo" shirts and cologne were the big thing. I had one in every color includeing pink. It actually looked good on me (Of course I was in my early 20s and in the best shape of my life :) I would not have a problem wearing a pink shirt oir tie. Pink pants or a jacket ?????????? Lets not get crazy here *LOL*
CarnivalPride Posted August 22, 2008 Author #32 Share Posted August 22, 2008 Of course, I don't think any man would feel comfortable wearing a pink dress. There is a huge difference!
DqALEX Posted August 22, 2008 #33 Share Posted August 22, 2008 Well, since my poll in the Floataway Lounge didn't get any attention, I decided to do it here with the Carnival cruisers. Anyway, I would like to know if there are any male cruisers here who are comfortable wearing pink. I don't have a problem with it; I wore a pink button-down shirt with a khaki sport coat on the second formal night on the Carnival Pride Mexican Riviera cruise. Anyone else here? EDIT - This poll is for the MALE Carnival cruisers. I was 17 in 1981. I have no problem with a pink shirt. Me or Don Johnson

Just to clarify, "BigD.." edited my post, presented as a quote. I did write "soft-pink dress shirt". I get it. Someone was trying to be funny. But it really should be against the rules to present a revision as a quote.

Azure Moon Posted August 24, 2008 #44 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Hubby wore pink accents with his groomsman's outfit once and looked good in the color. He was okay with the small amount. But he wanted nothing to do with a pink shirt I bought for him years later.
srlucado Posted August 24, 2008 #45 Share Posted August 24, 2008 I have a couple of pink shirts, and I think I look quite nice in them. I tend to look like a giant self-propelled strawberry, but what the heck.
ger_77 Posted August 24, 2008 #46 Share Posted August 24, 2008 DH said I should vote on his behalf that he has a couple of nice pink golf shirts that he's not afraid to wear any time. I don't think he'd wear pink pants though. Smooth Sailing! :) :) :)

meaty_petey Posted August 25, 2008 #48 Share Posted August 25, 2008 I own a pink dress shirt and have a couple of ties with pink backgrounds. However, I can't picture myself wearing any other item of clothing in that colour.
