At the time I am posting this' date=' it is only 4:48am in Halifax and it is dark. I assume the Eurodam has not arrived in Halifax yet. Yesterday there were two NCL ships berthed. I am hoping that later in the day I can see the Eurodam.[/quote']

Thank you for posting this link. I was able to watch the Eurodam come into the harbour and dock. We were there two days ago to meet friends coming in on the Maasdam. The weather today is quite nice. We were treated to the remnants of Hurricane Ike when we met our friends.

Maybe you can go for a visit? See the beautiful Eurodam?

Maasdam and Eurodam are supposed to be together in Sydney. Crew will probably have fun visiting back and forth.

We saw the Eurodam in Saint John on September 4th. Beautiful!!! We have been invited aboard for a luncheon and tour when she comes back on October 8th. Can't wait.

According to what I've read, the Eurodam had to skip PEI due to winds from Ike.

Sorry about the weather last week sapper, but as you know, that's just what we have to put up here in the Maritimes. I hope you had a great visit with your friends despite the weather and enjoyed Salty's and especially Cow's :)

Like you, I can't wait to get a peek at the Eurodam at the luncheon on Oct. 7th here in Halifax. My sister and BIL are even more excited than I am!

I thought it was the remnants of Hannah. She had just gone by here (a tad further south) when she was due in PEI the first time.

One of the Norwegian Ships had to skip Saint John on the same day as the pilot boat couldn't get out of the harbour to meet them due to the wind.

You're forgiven for the weather------like it never rains in SJ!!:D

On the plus side we had a wonderful visit with old friends which sort of made us forget the weather. We enjoyed Peggy's Cove in the wind and drizzle.

My husband and I had an amazing dinner at Salty's on Saturday night. That, alone, was worth the trip. We didn't get to Cow's because of the weather but we told our friends to make sure they got some in Charlottetown. If they had it here in NB I would look like the Goodyear Blimp!!!

We each made a twenty dollar donation at the casino.

I have been watching for the Eurodam, however it has missed both its scheduled stops in PEI so far. The cruise schedule for the port had it listed to arrive on the 7th and the 15th and it never made land either date..... it was quite windy Monday...can't remember what the weather was like on the 7th.....hope she makes it to port here sometime this Fall....

Was Maasdam in PEI today?

Yes...she was in on Wednesday...right on schedule....it was really neat when she left...she turned her bow pointing directly up Prince Street.....rotated 180 degrees and sailed out......we were about 4 blocks up the street when she left and saw it...three toots on the horn.....gotta luv it!!
