I've found that it is impossible to predict who is onboard any ship with any certainty. Only the captains paired to a ship seem to have some predictability because , if they're spotted onboard by a returning cruiser, his alternate will be at the helm three months from now.

He must have jumped from one ship to another because Damien O'Connor was hotel director on the Silhouette's inagural transatlantic.
