The code is P1S, Upgrades are all the way up. I got an 8G for an 8A cost. 4A's to 4G's and 6A's to 6B's are being offered.

 

However, our March 7 Liberty cruise was cheaper to go to an 8G on a senior rate than the P1S rate, by about $20 to $30 pp. Keep in mind :)

I keep checking the rates, but since I booked a 9A at a military rate, so far... no change in price.

I am thrilled at the price quoted, even if we do not get a "sale" price at a later date. Alas....I continue to check :D.

There are only 2 floors of Oceanview cabins that's why you can only be bumped one level up. Upgrade at this level is irrelevent as really no different.

 

Yes, we are being charged the crappy fuel surcharge but I am keeping fingers crossed that fuel will remain low so we get an onboard credit. :)

Some Sale.... those rates are higher than I paid a month ago. First the oil prices screwed me by one day and had to be reset and now HIGHER RATES !!!

Last time I checked on one of these sales there was no savings on my May 2009 cruise, This time we get to take advantage of a slight decrease. What the heck... every little bit counts.

Hmmm... thanks for the code!!! When I try to use it it shows all category 8 cabins as being upgraded to 8I. I have my eye on an 8G - Does anyone know if I have to take an 8I or can I potentially get the 8G for that price?

Go to Carnivals site and pick which cruise you are interested in. It will show a new window with the itenerary and the different categories... inside, oceanview, suite.... down BELOW that it says DO YOU HAVE A FARE CODE? Click that!

I was able to get a large obc today due to a price reduction. i was told it could not be used to pay gratuities or in the casino. Later i was told it could be used for gratuities. Any help on this?

I've done this in the past with the free upgrades. I wanted a specific deck so I took the upgrade to that deck only. There was no issue in being allowed to do it :)

I know the obc can be used to pay gratuities. Can't be used at the tables. Still waiting to hear if it can be used in the slots somehow. (loaded from s and s card directly into slots)

read that you can use the s & s at the table games to get cash but costs 3%

I just called and got a $200 reduction for my Valor cruise in July! It's the same code I booked back a couple of months ago, and the price for a 6D is $929 instead of the $1029 I booked at.

I can get a IS(guaranteed) cabin for 4 for 3200

or with this special get a 4G(highest interior) for 3300.

 

Is there really a big difference from 4A to 4G?

 

I am a RCI cruiser, and this will only be second time with Carnival.

 

It is for two teenage boys( mine and his best friend) and their mothers( myself and the other boys friends).

 

Budget is our main concern here, as the other family has a very limited budget for this 8th Grad Graduation cruise.
