C and A coupon books

We just got our gold cards and I read that we would get a coupon booklet in our cabin. Can any one tell me what they are all for? Are there just a few coupons or are they just discounts?

I have read about some of them but if someone could tell me about them I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance

Haven´t had a gold coupon book in hand for a long time, but they are mostly discount coupons or stuff like buy one get one free.

We are gold. We use the JR coupon ($3.95), wine tasting coupon ($10) and buy 1 get 1 free. The rest are pretty worthless to us since we do not visit the casino, etc. No complaints on our part though. We will take whatever freebies they want to give us.

Hello all fellow cruisers, do any of you know what the coupon book is for the youth? I signed up for C&A and then it also made available for me to sign my son up and that he would recieve a coupon book as well.

Thank you,

Patty

How did you sign up your son? I tried to add them in the C&A site, but it did not work. Maybe since they have not cruised yet.

thanks

We were not able to sign up our kids because they had not cruised with us on our only RCCL cruise. Once they cruise once, they recieve your C&A level, no matter what their actual number of cruises were.

Technically, you can only use them for the cruise on which you received them.

You are correct. I will just say that in a few days we leave on our 10th RCCL cruise and have used prior cruise coupons with no question asked on all our cruises. Including gold coupon buy 1 get 1 drink coupons and giving them our platinum seapass card.

I didn't realize this until we signed up our kids. They have two cruises under their belts but are considered Diamond C&A. Since the kids are 29 and 30, they love the extra/free drinks, casino, etc...

I thought that you only get the C&A level of your parents if you are 18 or under? Because if I could do that I would be Diamond plus like my parents.

Do they also accumulate cruises for their own level? We would like our kids to gain their own membership level so when they are on their own, they have elite status.

I'm not sure if this is the case, but what I understand is they follow your cruise level until they hit 18. At that point, they start out at that level, whatever it is and collect cruises on their own at that point. I may be wrong though.

I don't know what happens to their level if they cruise without you.

I can't find any info on the web site about it any more. It is called the Crown % Anchor Society Youth Program, but I can't find the description.

Maybe it is something else going away.
