rsail203 Posted January 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I just pre-reserved several shore excursions for my cruise, but I'm puzzled and I don't know how this works. On other cruiselines, when I reserved an excursion, I had to pay with my cc. No payment is asked by Princess. How does this work? When do I pay? The excursions are charged to your shipboard account AFTER you board. ;)

You will not be charged for any excursions you reserve until you get onboard. They will be charged to your shipboard account.
hughdm Posted January 21, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2009 What I remember is that they aren't charged to your shipboard account until you actually WENT.
caribill Posted January 21, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 21, 2009 What I remember is that they aren't charged to your shipboard account until you actually WENT. For me they have always been on the account the first day. If you decide on board to not take an excursion and return the tickets before the deadline, they will credit your account. paul929207 Posted January 21, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Yes, Princess charges pre-reserved shore excursions to your ship board account. The tickets will be delivered to your room the afternoon you board the ship.

billet Posted January 21, 2009 #8 Share Posted January 21, 2009 If you decide to cancel make sure you do it at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise you will be charged.
