Phew!! That's a relief. For some reason when I googled it, it said it was over a 2 hour ride! I guess I was doing something wrong.

It's almost across the street. (over a major highway) They charge $9.00 per peron for a cab ride form the sirport to the port.

Hi:) 9.00? I think it varies...the cabs are metered so if there

is alot of traffic it can run from 12.00-15.00. That meter

keeps ticking:eek:

You may have inadvertently typed in/searched Port Canaveral which is about 3 hours from FLL.

 

I have made the same mistake myself and I used to live in FL :D

possible, but I have the cab stub and info they give out and it seems like it's a fixed rate.

They list from FLL to PE as $9.00 pp

PE to FLL Beach $9.00 PP

PE to MIA $20.00 PP

and PE to WPB airport $36.00 PP

I am not saying your stub is wrong but I have never seen

that before.........from FLL to Miami? Cabs are usually running

anywhere from 50.00 to 75.00 for that distance.

 

Back to the original question of 9 or 12...last time I took

a cab from FLL airport to Port Everglades was in November.

I want to say it was 15.00 and that was with the tip.

It wasn't a fixed amount.

OK, whatever. I just did it in September coming from the Enchantment. And, I have the stub from the cab driver. Remember these are per person rates.

They give the sheets out at the port with all the rates.

The last time I took a cab from Port Everglades to FLL was Wednesday, and the metered ride was $14.90, with minimal traffic, just to time it takes to navigate around from the pier into the airport. Of course with tip it would have been $9 per person.
