The ATM machines in Italy, Spain etc., do they have English as a language option?:confused:

While I have not used ever ATM in either country, as far as I can remember, every one I have used recently offers English as an alternative.

Yes, all the ATMs we have used in Italy offer a language choice.

Used them at Athens, Florence, Rome, Marsaille and Barcelona. English was an option even in France.

 

Also found them in the far east: Malaysia, Japan, China, and Sinapore too.

 

Yes the world realizes that Americans only know one langague, but they do want our money really badly :D

I've used one in Turkey and my thoughts are if I can do it there, I can do it anywhere. :D

I was about to make exactly the same point! I remember using a ticket machine on the Barcelona Metro and a group of american passengers were standing at the next machine, and were having difficulty finding 'the english language option'. I told them the answer, and they were both grateful for the hint and a bit embarrassed that they hadn't got it themselves.
