Jimbo Posted May 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2009 New York City Courtyard is on 40th Street and Millennium is on 44th Street. Which hotel is nicer? Price is only about $20 more for the Millennium One Night? Anyone have an opinion, anyone stayed in both to compare for me? Jimbo:)
Chelley00 Posted May 19, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2009 We're staying at the Broadway Millienium in 3 weeks. I can give you a review then :) We booked it through TravelZoo and got a great deal!
Jimbo Posted May 19, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted May 19, 2009 Thanks, don't think you are going to be much help though, we are going on Saturday the 13th of June. Just can't decide which hotel to book. Jimbo:)

BlueHerons Posted May 19, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 19, 2009 Honestly, location wise it is six of one; half dozen of another. As far as the hotels go, the Millenium will be nicer but the rooms at the CbM may be a little larger. I'd probably go for the Millenium.
Jimbo Posted May 19, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted May 19, 2009 I hadn't reserved the Millennium until I checked Travel Zoo which Chelley00 mentioned (Thank You) I had found a price of $223 on Millennium website which wasn't cancellable, but on Travel Zoo they had a price of $230 which can be canceled so I reserved that. So Courtyard is $203 and Millennium is now $230. Now we have some more time to decide I guess. Anyone else have any opinions of the 2 hotels? Jimbo Posted May 19, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted May 19, 2009 check tripadvisor dot com for reviews That is what is making this a tough decision, Courtyard is somehow ranked like #28 and Millennium is ranked #129 out of 412 hotels in NYC. I commute to NYC every day from Long Island. Any city questions I can help you with, just ask. John

I ignore TA reviews completely. Half of them are either disgruntled employees or ones that have drank the KoolAid. Are you a member of either Hilton's or Marriott's frequent stay program? Find anymore deals like we had on Freedom? Jimbo:) Things are going well here. Yup we went north. It was a little cold but it was a fun trip. Got a great last minute deal but not sure it would equate to what we got on the Freedom. We had just been to the Mexican Riviera in March on the Mariner and really enjoyed the ship so when this opportunity became available we jumped on it.
