Galveston - May 2010

Recommended Posts

There are several holes still in the 2010 dates. I am not sure what is up.

I like so many others would like to see at least ONE ship on the gulf coast year round. Galveston would be a nice place to do that. (Tampa is just another Florida port)

I'd like to see one based in Galveston or New Orleans year round, too, but apparently it just is not profitable enough to be one of Royal's top priorities. Maybe with the introduction of two new ships there will be some wiggle room to move a ship out there. But same thing as the LA short cruises, I wouldn't hold my breath, the CEO has said that they just don't bring in the money that others do.

Thanks for the info. I don't like it but I do appreciate the responses.

I'm planning a cruise with my sister and two other women in May 2010 and we didn't want to have to pay airfare as well. We could drive to New Orleans and I only live about an hour outside of Galveston.
