QueensChick Posted August 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2009 :) Hello everyone, I've just started checking out this forum and it's great. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm booked on Vision of the Seas for a Holy Land & Egypt cruise in October 2010. It's a (slightly belated) treat to myself for my big Four-0. This has always been a dream of mine and I am beyond excited. I've sailed with family and friends in the past but this will be my first "big girl" cruise on my own. I look forward to sharing information & ideas re solo criuising. Yvonne

MrGoate Posted August 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Hi, Yvonne - and welcome to the solo forum. Think you'll find this particular group most helpful; a newbie myself, the collective insight has proven extremely valuable for this solo-by-preference traveler. Appears, also, that your quite the sea seasonsed one yourself; am certain you'll find the solo travel experience exciting, refreshing and without any deadlines or boundaries other than those you establish for yourself, now how cool is that? Btw, "Big 4-0?" You're yet the youngster, give me a break... Okay, Holy Land/Egypt in '10 - don't disappoint!! Regards...
Goldryder Posted August 8, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Sounds like a lovely cruise and I'm sure that you'll enjoy yourself too...once you've cruised solo once, you'll want to do it again, I'm sure :)
