Cookie2boys Posted September 14, 2009 #176 Share Posted September 14, 2009 At Port Canaveral, the Disney terminal is the ONLY one with a large enough luggage area that they can put ALL the luggage out at ONE time. They do it by floor #'s and I think colors, but all you have to do when you get there is find your floor # and color and there is your luggage, ready for you to take at whatever time of the morning you decided to get off their ships. The OTHER cruiselines, like Carnival and Royal, don't have large enough luggage areas to put all the luggage out at once so that is why you have to sit and wait, and wait, for your color to be called as they only put out the luggage for the color that's being called. OK, now I get it. I've been on three carnival cruises and cruised Disney last year. Disney's disembarkation was a piece of cake. You just walk off the ship... no waiting for colors or floors to be called. We ate breakfast then left. I've since wondered why carnival couldn't do the same thing being that it seemed so simple. crusinpsychRN Posted September 14, 2009 #177 Share Posted September 14, 2009 Not having sliding balcony doors. Those don't slam. Carnivals do and they are extremely heavy. I think that's why so many people let them slam. I'm surprised we haven't heard of an accident with those doors.
Bigtex1622 Posted September 14, 2009 #178 Share Posted September 14, 2009 They sell suites under the gym. You get the noise all day and night. Cannot sleep. They charge you for a suite that is not sweet! Have you never heard of sound proofing????
dmdiver Posted September 16, 2009 #179 Share Posted September 16, 2009 When we were on Valor, the gym wasn't open all that late. We had to leave after only 5 minutes of cardio. I just can't remember whether it was 9 or 10pm.
