  1. You may be right, but that’s never been my impression, and it is The Passenger Vessel Services Act not The Passenger Cruise Line Services Act.
  2. There’s a limited lunch menu, which includes a Luminae burger, shrimp cocktail, a couple of wraps/sandwiches, and a chicken Caesar salad. They mat alert you that some items will take a while.
  3. Mainly, what Rudy said. Also, there were a couple of special events for people on concierge tours. A happy hour one night and a special dinner another night. Ours also made the arrangements for us to leave a day early.
  4. Just to clarify, for cruises stopping in Victoria the last night, and then ending the next morning in Seattle or Vancouver, the casino remains closed because the ship never gets back into international waters. For other cruises visiting Victoria, the ship can open the casino as soon as it reaches international waters.
  5. Even the Russians hate the ruble.
  6. The ability to bring wine back on board used to be the actual policy on a cruise designated as a Wine Cruise. Maybe the spirit of it is still alive, even if the policy isn’t.
  7. Yes, I’m waiting, no I don’t have an idea. Particularly waiting for August, 2026, cruises around Iceland, northwestern Spain, or the western Med, at the time of the solar eclipse. Cunard and Princess have already announced theirs.
  8. It’s unfortunate it hasn’t worked out for you, but from your post it sounds like you find the whole San Francisco port situation unsuitable for you. So, even a different cruise line, or a more helpful Princess, wouldn’t have mattered. Princess does have an Alaska cruise next summer (2025) round trip from San Pedro. You might want to look into that.
  9. Sky is Norway/Iceland, they were talking about a Med cruise. if the T&C give the booking agency the right to charge £150, I expect they will, regardless of whether those rooms are officially canceled or Princess cancels them for nonpayment of the outstanding balance.
  10. Why do you think it’s beyond final payment date when they say, “My question is if I just let the duplicate bookings run their course and don't pay the final balance when it's due - presumably the bookings would just get cancelled automatically?”
  11. That’s why people most often use the median when talking about income statistics.
  12. I was speaking more generally, in assistance of the OP, not about me personally. But if the $24.99/day is accurate, that’s a hard number to start from when deciding whether to go back to Plus+upgraded Internet or to keep Premier.
  13. I was curious because the website says $24.99/day. For someone crunching the numbers, and looking at a $20/pp/day difference, there’s a big difference between having to find $30/day of value in having two people on Premium and having to find $15/day.
  14. What does it cost a person with no Princess status to upgrade from 1 to 4?
