Now, why would you think the Haven 'stole' public space? Those in the Haven are also 'public'. Do suites 'steal' space from other cabins? Please explain.

Always tip with cash. Really isn't a big deal to travel with several hundred dollars. To be honest, never leave the house without cash. You can get change from guest services so it's not necessary to carry a large number of bills. Several $100's, enought to cover gratuities and other expenses.

Not necessarily so. Many choose not to wait until the end of the cruise.

The only way to get the crissonts is to book a haven room. The Haven does not provide room service to other cabins.

We used to be arrive at the port as early as possible. Sometimes even before the doors open. Now, we agree with graphic guy. No need to sit/stand for a couple of hours to board maybe 30 minutes earlier. Arrive at 0900, board at 1115. Arrive at 1100, board at 1130.

I've never understood why the site of someone in shorts ruins one's culinary experience. If it does, I would suggest not to crawl around on the floor looking under tables.

Sounds like your leaving from NOLA. We've taken two cruises on NCL from NOLA. Our first cruise we arrived at the port approximately 0930. We spent the next hour in the line for security clearance. We boarded about 1115. Our second cruise, we arrived at the port approximately 1100. The security line was non-existant, we boarded about 1115. NOLA has a very small waiting area for those who've checkin in. Once the area is full, NOLA stops the security line. It doesn't matter whether your in Haven or not, there is only one security line. You cannot check in or visit the haven waiting area until after security. we found there was little of no advantage to an early arrival. We now wait in our comforable hotel room until we can time our arrival at the port after the line has cleared, around 1100.
