Erinchita Posted November 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2009 I just read somewhere that travel irons are prohibited. Glad I saw that, because it was on my packing list. Is there anywhere I can find a full list of prohibited items? I checked the Princess web site and the passage contract, but didn't see anything specific. mr green Posted November 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2009 Beer and hard liquor are no-nos, and I have heard of sharp objects being removed, but I have never had any problems with the latter. Sorry, I don't know of any list of prohibited objects. john

Cruisin' Chick Posted November 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2009 I decided to try to find that info on the princess website, but couldn't. Even did a search on "irons," "candles." Looked in the Passage Contract. I'm guessing the info is someplace. But do add to your list: animals (unless they are service animals).

AlaskaGolden Posted November 4, 2009 #15 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Here's a fairly comprehensive list from Royal Caribbean. Would it be appropriate to assume most of this with the exception of some types of alcohol are also prohibited on Princess? "Weapons, illegal drugs, and other items that could interfere with the safe operation of the ship or the safe and secure environment of our guests and crew are prohibited. The following are examples of items that are not allowed on-board. These and other similar items will be confiscated upon being found. Prohibited items: Firearms & Ammunition, including realistic replicas. Sharp Objects, including knives and scissors.(Note: Personal grooming items such as safety razors are allowed.) Illegal Drugs & Substances Candles & Incense Coffee Makers, Clothes Irons, & Hot Plates Baseball Bats, Hockey Sticks, Cricket Bats, Bows & Arrows Illegal Drugs Skateboards & Surfboards Martial Arts Gear Self-Defense Gear, including handcuffs, pepper spray, night sticks. Flammable Liquids and Explosives, including lighter fluid and fireworks. HAM Radios Dangerous Chemicals, including bleach and paint. Personal Alcohol"
