I know that. I have been following Anthem all weekend.

We loved him on Navigator from Galveston in 2014.

Just trying to figure out if the Capt. list is correct and we will have Capt MacDonald in late Feb.

and Capt Claus left the ship last night to assist in the investigation....don't know who'll be taking her out Saturday. At least RCI admitted to some culpability in their process for assessing storms. Can't believe people think these ships sail with a meteorologist on board. The captains get a print out every hour from Marine Ops on the weather. And RCI has admitted they need to beef up and review their procedures for assisting the captains. I believe cut backs in Miami to save money has come back to bite them in the butt.

Would they have Captain Anders come back? He's only been gone the week. But I would think they would want someone who is familiar with Anthem.

They could.

I trust Captain Anders or Captain Henrik will take over. They are the only ones familiar with this class of ship and available according to the schedule. Captain Henrik also took over Brilliance in 2011 after a big storm in the Med with similar damage.

Out of curiousity, and because I don't see him on the list, where is Captain Trym Selvag? Switching to Allure maybe?

Thanks a lot, Patti. He was the Captain on my first cruise ever, which was the Radiance. Brings back so many sweet memories. I'll have to sail her again some day. :D

And just looked back at the list and now I see him.... Oh boy, I need glasses, I looked at it twice before asking.... :o

Captain Goran was the captain on Radiance of the Seas 31 January to 8 February.

Captain Goran started his 10 week rotation on January 31. Captain Trym is currently on vacation, but will replace Captain Goran when he goes on vacation sometime the first week of April.
