Navigator or Jewel?

Recommended Posts

Agree that you can't go wrong with either class of ships. The Schooner Bar on the Radiance class ships is lot better that the Voyager class ships. Another plus for the schooner bar layout is it's no where near the casino (opposite end). So you don't get the cigarette smoke smell in the smaller Schooner bar area from the casino like you do on the Voyager class ships. The Radiance class ships don't have a Studio B (ice skating rink) so no ice skating performances. For us it would depend on the itinerary on deciding between the Jewel and the Navigator.

booked a 14 night TA on Navigator and shortly after had to change to Jewel because of a scheduling conflict at home. I am actually happier about the ship because I prefer the Radiance class ship to Voyager class. I preferred the itinerary of Navigator to Jewel, but am really excited to get back on a Radiance class ship. I don't think you can make a bad decision here. The itinerary would probably be my deciding factor if I was you.

Which one people?? I don't think the Jewel has that nice park like shopping area like the Voyager Class does? What else would sway you one way or another?

Do you have kids? Kids might enjoy navigator more, but I've done both ships and would love to do which ever has the better intinerary and pricing.

I'm on the jewel of the seas TA right now, sitting in the solarium, and on this class of ship for the first time. I must say that I absolutely love how beautiful this ship is and that it's big enough that I'm not bored, yet not overwhelming. If you are cruising without children you will love the jewel of the seas. I won't hesitate to book this class ship in the future.

We've just booked on board for Jewel next May Greek Islands so it was nice to read your positive comments.

Like both BUT Jewel is now my favourite ship behind Allure.

I like the whole feel of the Radiance Class ship and never missed the promenade at all. For the size of the ship Jewel really packs a lot inside. Biggest negative would be pool decks are a bit small.

However; I would go on either tomorrow :D
