Celebrity Millenium or Royal Carb Radiance of the Sea

Going to Alaska. Which ship is nicer overall for quality of service, excursions, shows, etc. I read that both are older ships, but Royal seems to have a slightly better rating. That surprised me. Thank for your help.

Go to youtube and checkout both ships. Not to downplay Celebrity but the Radiance is absolutely beautiful top to bottom, it has more glass windows than just about any ship afloat. You didn't state your age but the Millennium draws a older and more well traveled sedate group.. happy cruising

I love the size and elegance of Radiance of the Seas; it was a wonderful Alaskan cruise.

Another vote for the Radiance - our favorite ship ever, having spent 43 nights onboard. Perfect size and lots of glass for spectacular sea views. We haven't been on the Millennium, but have been on the Summit which is very similar and not one of our favorites.

I've cruised both ships and would cruise again on either one in a heartbeat. That said, I would give the edge to Radiance. I'd give Celebrity a slight edge for service but RCI blows Celebrity away with entertainment and activities.

Another vote for RCI Radiance...you'll have no regrets.
