Hello all, Most of our cruises have been with P&O from Southampton. Only fly cruise was with Thompson's, also came back from South Africa with Union Castle. 1st P&O was 10 years ago....most recent was Oriana in May this year. We now fancy a change, not that we are unhappy but it does seem that the experience isn't what it was. Not done any research yet but wondering what lines operate No-Fly cruises from the UK. Now retired so we prefer getting away in the Winter. Advice please.

Keith.

Most cruise lines now sell airfare for their cruises. They call them different things Princess , Carnival and Holland America call it EzAir.

Azamara , Royal and Celebrity call it ChoiceAir.

From the uk in winter months you would be looking at fred olsen, cruise and maritime, and P and O, oh and Cunard I would guess. Bear in mind that Jan-April pando and fred and cunard would have their world cruises going on.

As has been posted the American lines tend to be like migrating birds and come here in the summer.

Most cruises from Southampton in January - March tend to be longer ones involving a sea crossing e.g. to the Caribbean. P&O definitely has the best selection of Winter cruises. Cruise and Maritime / Fred Olsen offer even longer trips and if you think standards are slipping at P&O you wouldn't want to try either of them IMO. Cunard does World cruises. The other option would be a leg of a world cruise but it may be like me you will not fly at all so that may not be an option.

Hello Hoss. You could consider taking a ferry over to the continent and drive to or take the train to a European port. spend a few days before and after your cruise to extend your holiday. Hope this helps. Happy cruising. :)

OP

Train to Kings Cross, cross the road, Eurostar to Paris or Brussels then opens up Europe destinations by train.
