  1. Airlie Beach - Ocean Rafting ship excursion. Cairns - spent hours in the free pool on the foreshore. Afternoon - ship excursion - stretch limo tour to Cairns Cascades and Port Douglas. Port Douglas - did the ship excursion with Quicksilver to outer reef platform for snorkeling. All done through Carnival. Enjoyed all of them. tip - if you haven’t done a cruise by of Willis Island before, make sure you are on the open deck as you slowly cruise past as the reef pilot will interview one of the scientists who live on the island and broadcast it through the ship speakers. Interesting
  2. @FromSea2ShiningSea Japan during the cherry blossom season 🌸. Can’t wait to see your beautiful photos from this trip. @Ozark_Kid Happy Birthday. I know how much joy the garden gives my dad. Wonderful that your family is ensuring you can continue to access and enjoy your garden.
  3. Good evening. It’s been a very pleasant day & evening in Sydney. We have been out to dinner & then to the theatre. Currently 22C at 10.30pm.
  4. I work close to home. DH works near Circular Quay. This morning whilst I am still in bed, I receive this photo taken as DH walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to work.
  5. Happy Birthday @dani negreanu. I hope you were able to have a lovely dinner with friends & family. I wonder what DH cooked for you.
  6. John’s GBR photos are from Reef Magic out of Cairns. A similar ship excursion is available out of Port Douglas. Like John, we were blessed with very calm seas and snorkeling was also done off a large floating platform. (This excursion was in December) They also have the submarine available for non-swimmers.
  7. We had dinner & drinks at Kirribilli last night. Walking down to the theatre View from the platform at Kirribilli train station after. Must have been a colour run on, people arriving at the platform covered in coloured powder.
  8. When surgeon confirmed she couldn’t fly home immediately, she decided to stay. Still struggling with using crutches in the snowy conditions. Looking forward to when she can start physio. Thanks for asking.
  9. @jmh2006 thank you for the canal photos. Would love to do this one day… @firefly333 all the best for your op. @ReneeFLL have you posted anywhere your thoughts on VV?
  10. LOVE THIS! & love that Daryl is appropriately dressed for formal night. Might steal your idea for our Canada trip. Present the kiddos with hoodies with Moose featured. He travels everywhere with me since my son posted him to me when he first arrived there
  11. I love Eden. Been twice on the short cruises from Sydney. Nice to explore on foot - down to the beach and the lookouts and up to the lookouts closest to the ship. Also the whale watching cruise in season and the guided walk into the National Park (ship excursion). Like you. would love to return for a road trip to the area. Sorry you missed out on Port Arthur. Our cruise had most beautiful weather day. The water was sparkling. Such an interesting and sad place to visit. Been wanting to your cruise for a while for the scenic cruising portion.
  12. Daughter had an unplanned smash cake for her 3rd birthday. We had a large group of kids celebrating in a park in Adelaide and another child managed to lean on and squash the Dorothy the Dinosaur cake just before I served it. Not good for photos but still tasted delicious…
  13. I like your view. Enjoy your cruise. I know you will because you’ve said how much you enjoy them 🎸🎤🎶
  14. Glad you had a successful visit to Hobart despite the cruise crowds & weather. Haven’t been to MONA yet but it’s on my list.
  15. Thank you for your report. What did you do in Tassie that you enjoyed? Photo glimpse of your ship taken by family member who was having drinks at the Opera Bar yesterday afternoon.
  16. Sounds like you had a lovely day and yes, the Harbour Pylon is a good alternative for those who don’t want to do the climb plus it’s a much cheaper option too,
