I am in the camp of going straight to Barcelona. There will be sightseeing opportunities for as long as you are there,

CT is a fine idea. Although, last year we went to Florence the day after Rome and the kids (14 and 10) loved it. The boy (14) liked the history and architecture, while the girl (10) liked shopping in the stalls with leather products.

On Day 1 we did the Road to Hana. Good choice. On Day 2 we did the sunrise at volcano. It was also a good choice, although we left the ship at around 3 am. We were back on the boat by 10am. There still might be time to go to the beach.

Taxis at the airport are in better shape than Baltimore taxis and are fine.

We did it last summer with a private guide. I can't imagine driving it myself.

Is spending the day in Honfleur an option?

We were there last summer and took a taxi.

We are also from the DC area. Cheap and Honolulu do not go together (although there are inexpensive souvenirs in the Walmart). We stayed at the HIlton Beach Resort on one end of the cruise. Not cheap and crowded. On the other end we stayed at the Ala Moana. Nice place. If looking for "cheap" I would recommend looking at one of the booking sites and then read reviews. We flew from BWI with a change in Vegas. It was a lonnnnng trip each way.

I have tried Lightroom, Elements, Paint Shop and Photo Studio. I find Elements the easiest to use.

Never had a problem and I believe that the cabins are identical.

According to Google Maps it's 1.8 miles. With luggage, I'm grabbing that taxi.

Taxis are all over the place outside Penn Station and it is a much shorter ride into the city that from any of the airports.

Agree that Uber/Lyft is the best way to get to Balt Penn Station

Four of us shared a private car. Even stopped in Windsor on the way. Worked great.

There's a beach right where the tender lets you off. Oh yeah, and the shaved ice is really good.

Absolutely, take the first timed ticket available. On a sunny day the interior lights up with color.

Agree that it would be a waste to stay on the ship.

Although we also went to Eze we found VIllefranche charming and picturesque. We walked around for several hours.

$100 each. That's more than double the price. How far depends on exactly where you dock.

Have used Barcelona taxis not only from the airport but to get all over the city.
