I am looking to move to a full frame camera. I currently shoot with a Canon 60D. The question is to trade my Canon stuff in and move to a Nikon z5 with a 24-200 lens or to keep my current lenses and buy a Canon R8 with the adapter. Thoughts?

We did that this summer. Road to Hana and then sunrise. We got back closer to 10 and went to eat breakfast since we did not eat before catching the (I think it was) 3 am departure. We took a nap and hung out at the pool.

We have never had a problem getting a taxi in Barcelona.

I agree. Just park at the cruise port.

Not a cruise picture but seasonal appropriate.

I think I will skip the third party adapter. Still looking at Nikon Z5 with a Z lens.

That is not something that I would count on. I would have a plan.

You will obviously have to make some choices. Once on a cruise stop for Rome we walked from the Spanish Steps to the Fountain of Trevi to the Pantheon. We were also able to get into St. Peters. Notice that the Coliseum and the Forum are missing. Last year, 6 of us hired a driver and also got to the Coliseum. We've been to Barcelona four times and have always spent more than two days. We still have things to see.

We have used ship transportation twice and while it might be more expensive it was easy and efficient.

We did almost the same extensions. We did do Hana. Take a look.

So, we are on NCL. Seems like bus might be what they are doing, although a couple of thousand folks seems like a lot. Waiting to see if someone has a recent experience on what was done and how it went. We have been to Venice so staying in Trieste might be an option.

Since Venice does not allow large cruise ships it looks like we are in Trieste for a day with tendering to Venice. Has anyone does this? Is the tendering on life boats? Does the tendering run regularly or get cancelled?

Kotor, Zadar, Koper - Any advice on these ports. Are any DIY right off the ship?

I currently have a Canon D60 and am thinking about a lighter mirrorless option. I usually use a Tamron 18 - 400 lens. Any thoughts on these two cameras as to whether I would be gaining capability, or these might be a step down.

Is flying to Trieste feasible or just go to Venice and take the bus or train?

We stayed in Southampton the night before. It's not like there is nothing to do there. There is an old town, plenty of restaurants, and some museums.
