As far as I know, Canada is the only commonwealth country that celebrates Queen Victoria's birthday (any excuse for a holiday 🙂) The 24th of May Is the Queen's birthday If we don't get a holiday We'll all run away

Our next cruise leaves from Rotterdam. We have been to Amsterdam a few times and while there is a lot to see and do there, we thought we might spend the day and night before the cruise in Rotterdam. Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels there? Thank you.

Good morning. Thanks for the Daily Report. Happy Memorial Day to our friends in the US. An important day to honour those that serve and protect us. I will water my flowers today. I'm usually not very creative. I know a few people with MS, terrible disease, I hope someone can find a cure. Love the quote. The meal sound interesting, looking forward to seeing the recipe. Good morning and thanks for the Daily. It's cloudy here this morning, but supposed to clear up this afternoon with a high of 26C (79F) 🙂 Interesting days. We have a composter in our backyard. Garden clippings and kitchen trimmings go in, compost comes out - it's great. A big thank you to Peace Keepers. Not a fan of car racing but others love it. Sometimes it takes a long time to grow up. The meal suggestion sounds good, looking forward to seeing the recipe. The drink sounds like summer, yum! Hope the wine is tasty too. Thanks in advance for pictures of today's port.
