    We brought a UV light on several cruises early on after the Covid restart. Had no problem getting it through security.

    Can you tell me why you liked it? I’ve had it recommended, but have tried the white blend (also recommended) and despised it. Since then I’ve avoided the brand.

    I’m very glad to hear this. Although I prefer tofu and beans over plant based meats, it’s nice to have that option. Looking forward to trying the vegetarian tasting menu at Eden.

    I don’t believe we’ve ever not received the email closer to the sailing which gives you options for specific requests, celebrations, etc. It’s the phone call that appears to be random for Sky Suites, unlike in upper suites.

    Same for us regarding offers only from Blue Chip Club. We don’t spend a lot of time in casino and will not enter if vaping is allowed. We worry about it expanding elsewhere and include smoking.

    This is just such a weird, new occurrence as I related previously.. We have always been able to order off All other menus, our servers even gleefully presenting the entirety of menus. In addition, they made clear we could special order whatever we wanted the day before. I hope this is not the trend for the future.

    We’re elite plus and received a response from the CEO the next day, then another the following day in response to a second matter. We also received a form letter from executive office. We do sail in suites but mostly sky.

    Very nice review, thank you! I so appreciate your remarks regarding your satisfaction with a veranda vs a suite. I’ve been considering trying a veranda again and glad to hear your experience was so positive.

    We sailed to Antarctica and South America on her in February. She is showing her age a bit, yet still a marvelous lady. Service was top notch; they go out of their way to please. Our sommelier was one of the best we’ve ever had. We were in a suite, we had no issues with service anywhere on the ship.

    No, they’re pretty laid back, but will definitely speak their mind when they deem necessary. We’ve cruised together a lot in suites and they know I like more vegetarian options.

    I agree. I did send an email to new CEO who replied she hadn’t heard of the policy. She just emailed again that she was thankful for the information that this is allowed and she will have head of F& B reiterate this to fleet. To OP.. sorry for hijacking thread!

    They said no orders from ANY other menu…mind boggling! It may be specific to this Maître d’. Stated he’s a bit odd and the wait staff seem terrified of him.

    It has always been our experience in Luminae to be able to order from all menus on ships other than E class. However, friends who are currently on the Millennium are reporting that the Maître d’ has not allowed this. No idea of reasoning behind this. Hoping this is not a new change.

    Following along. We did this cruise on Apex last year and loved it. Amsterdam is one of our favorite cities.

    The thread on Facebook has been shut down by moderator. It had 325 posts that were overwhelmingly negative. I sincerely hope they take our responses seriously. Not confident they care.

    We have also sent an email expressing our displeasure at this latest attempt at degrading the Celebrity experience.
