Welcome to CC.
There's very little feedback from Spectrum, but you might search some of the threads related to her to see if UDP is mentioned. Regardless of the feedback, it's still a good idea to book the venues as soon as you board.
That seems to happen sometimes on O class (offer low/no surcharge solo rates) when they need to fill the ship. Much less likely to happen on other classes.
The reporting of speed caps is sparse and can change over time. Assume your ship is limited to 4Mbps and be pleasantly surprised if you get more. For most uses you won’t perceive much diff regardless of cap level. The bigger issue is reliability, not speed.
Unless you are in Star Class suites, you either have to book/pay for the specialty dining in the planner now (likely cheaper) or ask the concierge to do it for you (at the on board price).
Most RCI decisions are $ based. Long repos have some unique features - like the multiple specialty dining packages (the 5 is usually only offered on much longer sailings). They may sell more of those and don't want to discount to the UDP level.
Or, the UDP could show up tomorrow.
Welcome to CC and coming out of lurk mode.
That may depend on the cabin steward and even that particular sailing (depending on how much other work that steward has) but if you ask nicely, they may put it up every day.
