I have been on all Oasis Class expect Symphony too. I thought that they tried to squeeze too much into Wonder. My favourite is Allure and I wish they wouldnt put the Ultimate Abyss on...leave us 1 ship without (in my opinion) this eyesore!

It could be some of the Land & Cruise tours for Alaska are included in the count too. No matter how many there are this new rule for over 15 days was brought in with great speed!

My last 2 TAs (Brilliance Nov 23 & Enchantment May 24) have been 15 nighters

I just did a dummy booking for the 17 night Brilliance TP and for the UK Market the deposit has increase from £150 to £430

Id say my Top 3 Cruise Directors (in no paticular order) have been Abe Hughes (now working shore side) Mike Szwajkowsk and Eric Lopez. 😎

Any idea where the Vision Class ships will be home ported in 2025/26?

Currently onboard Serenade and Ken Jones is not wowing me. His morning shows are boring, he doesnt interact much (only seen his twice around the ship outside shows and games). The Acitivites Team are carrying the load. I have heard that Joff will be taking over as CD for the World Cruise.

And sure American Thanksgiving and Canadian Thanksgiving are celebrated in 2 different months! 🦃

Yeah @cublet even the 4 countries in the UK we all have different Summer School Holidays and different public holidays! 😉

Thanks @firefly333. As @cublet said the UK and Ireland system still hasn't been updated. I am onboard Serenade in a few weeks so I will ask at Next Cruise if they can book it for me 🙂

I have a question about Spring Break blackout periods - when are they specifically? I know they are in between end of February and Easter but I am from the North of Ireland so am not 100% sure. I am trying to price a cruise on Mariner in 22 March 2025 and it is saying it is not available but I already have a cruise booked the week after on Jewel in 29 March 2025 and I got the discount for that one!

I got to DP340 in May and knew that this was one of the only times that we in UK and Ireland could get a reprice. My poor TA had to phone 10 times to get some who acknowledged that there was a discount, others said that it couldn't be combinable with 'sale' offers! She was like 'Listen, my client knows what she is talking about...she reads all the forums!' Eventually it got sorted.

I too am sailing on her in Aug/Sept 2024 along with Enchantment the week before I love the Vision Class and Radiance Class ship but I don't think Royal do. I was on Enchantment in May and a few crew members said she is going to be sold. The lack of maintenance was obvious (water coming through the ceiling in the Spotlight Lounge and the activities team were joking it was a free aqua show!) At Captains Corner it was said that a lot of money is put into refurbing the Voyager, Freedom and Oasis class of ships as they are automatically identified as a Royal Ship! Saying that I have sailed on Splendour (now Marella Discovery), Rhapsody, Vision and Enchantment and only Grandeur to sail in the current RCI Vision Fleet. Some day I will make it to Marella Discovery 2 (ex Legend of the Seas) to make the full set! 🙂

If the current prices for Icon of the Seas are anything to go by I wont be able to afford Icon 2 either!!

Strongbow! I am a cider drinker and usually there is stock on board but the last few cruises the draft variety was hard to find or ran out quickly! I would rather use one of my Diamond Drink vouchers on a 20oz glass instead of a 330ml bottle!!

It would be fair enough to replace Johnny Rockets with another food place (love, love, love El Loco Fresh) but looking at the deck plans of Voyager it was removed to make the kids area bigger

I know Voyager lost her Johnny Rockets in her Singapore revamp which is a shame.

Voyager Repo Athens - Barcelona Oct 14 2024 has been redeployed to end in Malaga instead of Barcelona as Voyager is heading to Dry Dock. If you stay on you can have a whopping $50 OBC per cabin!! Since I am on the Oasis TA from Barcelona the next day I dont fancy travelling the 600 miles to get to Barcelona (which will cost me a lot more than $50!)

On my last 3 cruises when I got Room Service I rang to get them pick up used dishes. I was told no one was available and to put them out in the hall and someone will come along with a trolly once they have enough to pick up on that corridor.

I agree about them not having fixed the dates in August. I had to ring to get them applied and I now trying to get a booking repriced using the discount (I know it is one of the times we can get price adjustment in the UK is to apply the DP340). I finally manged to get someone who knew what I was talking about!!

I sailed on the Jewel Suez Canal Rome to Dubai in Dec 2019 and my inside on deck 8 was £1600 solo for 16 nights with no discounts. I am now DP340 and by Oct 24 I will be over 55 - as someone has mentioned the DP 340 isn't working but this is the price for an interior solo Now I have a 3 x side by sides booked for the same time as this sailing (9 nights on Voyager Repo, 14 nights on Oasis TA and a cheeky 4 nights on Independence when we get to Florida) and all 3 of them is just over £2700 solo for 26 nights!! I think I will pass on Anthem!!
