Did the guarantee show up just 2 weeks before final payment? We still have suites left for our cruise April 29th. Wondering if those prices will come down.
The GTY popped up about 2-3 months ago. Someone on our roll call gave us a heads-up.

I am on the same cruise and final payment was Monday, how is yours 2 weeks away ??
That is a nice price for a Spa JS upgrade! I had one reserved until I paid in full since the price of a balcony GTY (which I was asigned a D6) was $1200.00 less I "downgraded".
On another note we had a SJS on our 12 nighter last March and we did love it!
I think our final payment is at 75 days instead of 90 since our reservation was made before last March when the change occurred.

We sailed Anthem in a Spa JS a few weeks ago. It is a really nice cabin with good storage space, layout, and the split bathrooms were really useful. We found the bed to be very hard but the cabin attendant had a fix for that (extra duvet as cushion). Dining in CK (dinner only) is excellent. We went there most nights and food and service were on par with the two specialty restaurants that we paid for (Jamie's and Wonderland). Other than easier check-in there are no other great perks for a Jr suite other than the two points per night. Overall I personally would go for the Spa JS at that price.
Great feedback...thanks for your advise.

I'd cancel or reduce the dining package and go with the JS.
Thanks, Bob. That sounds like an interesting option. We have two weeks until our final payment date. I am going to continue to monitor the prices...the upgrade is very tempting right now.

We are on an 8 night trip in early April. We have a D1 on the hump with an excellent balcony. Would you upgrade to a JS GTY for $600? Really like the split bathrooms in the Spa JS, but the balcony appears smaller than what we have. Like the idea of double points and access to CK for dinner, but already have a 5 night dining package...ugh...first world problems! Which would you pick and why?

Thanks! And you as well. From the looks of it you have everything lined
up starting with "A"....perhaps working down the alphabet later on? ;)
Have not been on Adventure, Allure, or Anthem yet....hope you enjoy! :D
Yes, we are working our way down the fleet in alphabetical order! [emoji16]

Fantastic job! One of the better videos I have seen. You have a talent
for sure! :)
Makes me even more excited to do that cruise next year on Jewel,
one of my favorite ships!
Thanks so much for sharing and taking us along on your cruise!
Thanks for your kind words. Enjoy your cruise!

Sailing on Jewel in April very much looking forward to it.
Assume March was prior to the dry dock
Correct, we were on the second to last cruise prior to dry dock.

Great video and thanks for sharing it with us all. Love the Jewel and the southern Caribbean.
Very happy to revisit this cruise with everyone and so glad you enjoyed the video. We love the Southern Caribbean as well...we have sailed that route twice and have two more booked.

Thank you, Mark and Deb, for sharing your video memories of what sure looks like a great trip! Brings back fond memories of being aboard Lady Jewel, one of my favorite ships in Royal's fleet.
... I'm still smiling[emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
Glad you enjoyed it. That was our second trip on the Jewel and I am sure there will be more. There's just something about that ship... it must be the crew!

what cabin were you in?
9642 - a hump JS on deck 9 starboard side. We were very happy with it. We booked that room while onboard the Indy a year ago. I have found that the Next Cruise agents on the ship really know the best cabins.

We love the walk in closet (not sure if the Enchantment has these) and the double points that come with a JS.

How can you tell what ships will be in port during your cruise?
I use cruisetimetables dot com.

Thanks for your kind words. I apologize about the silent time in the middle of it, but I had to remove a song that was causing the blockage. Just hum along to La Isla Bonita during our Catamaran excursion in St. Maarten.

Curacoa port: Adventure of the Seas: What Pier does it dock
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
Jewel was at the larger pier further away from the bridge, so I am sure Adventure will be as well. I don't think any Oasis or Quantam class ships go to Curaçao.
