  1. There was a speaker on our transatlantic cruise last November. I only went once. I didn’t find the speaker very engaging. There wasn’t a choir. We enjoyed our cruise and would do a transatlantic again
  2. We didn’t even pick that cabin. We had a guaranteed cabin. 🤷‍♀️
  3. We were just onboard a week ago for 3 weeks in 1179. It was very quiet
  4. We thought 12:30 flight would be too tight so we are staying an extra day
  5. We used tours by locals in Boston years ago and had a good experience. At least that tells you they have been around awhile
  6. We got our aarp obc credit for 2 upcoming cruises! Our pcc was helpful. The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was going through a US vpn
  7. We were on the zaandam for 3 weeks last year and loved it! The staff were the best! Ladies need to check out the ladies washroom just outside the main dinning room. It’s like a huge dressing room! Weird but fun detail
  8. No if you didn’t know, you didn’t know! @JJK2008 😉
  9. My pcc says it can be applied to existing bookings. I guess I’ll find out in about a week and a half since she said it takes about 7 days not counting weekends ans holidays
  10. Looks like we have it sorted! We have been verified. Although my pcc said it is only for one trip per year which I didn’t see anywhere.
  11. I also have an email into my HAL ppc. We’ll see….
  12. I just went through it with my TA ( he is in The states). He said it might only work for new bookings.
  13. I keep getting an error message when I try to get the form to fill out with HAL
  14. Thanks for the idea! Just joined the aarp and sent emails to get the obc 🤞
  15. Hello. We were on the zaandam last august/september. 3393 and 3374 were not updated but 3424 was.
  16. We have embarked 3 times in Vancouver and had to drop bags in the parking area down the ramp. There are elevators as well.
  17. We love the 2 seat rows and the drinks and snacks are good too. The cookies come from a bakery near our home, but I like the almonds better. The only problem with Porter is sometimes it is hard to get a direct flight to where we want to go.
  18. We have been flying Porter lately and really like it!
  19. We for sure used it on embarkation day. I don’t think we used it on disembarkation day
  20. Options. We have stayed at the fairmont water front, the auberge and the paradox. All were very nice and we walked to the port from all
  21. You are welcome. I just looked up my parents cabin numbers. 3424 was renovated. 3374 was not. Sorry I can’t help with your specific cabins. But maybe some more cabins have been renovated since September…one can hope
  22. We were on last August /September. 3393 was not renovated. My parents ended up having 2 different cabins on our b2b cruise. One was renovated one was not both on deck 3. Sorry I can’t remember their cabin numbers. At that time some were and done were not
  23. We called HAL and linked the bookings for 2 separate cabins/ bookings. All dining and excursions were then together
