  1. So late to the party Jim😅 Really great to follow your adventure on this cruise! I think its great that you post from this adventure on the X forum🥰 The ship looks great, small but well appointed. Looking forward to the rest!
  2. ohhh, I want to go back to Japan🤩 We had a great time during our 6/weeks trip and cruise on Milli in 2018..... Was supposed to celebrate 10years wedding anniversary in October 2020 on a new Japan & South Korea adventure 4 weeks cruise and land..... Looks like your having a great time! Really enjoying your review🥰 We are a bit split about our 2025 October plans.... Im really split about Galapagos or a new Japan adventure in October 2025.... Your not helping me out on this now😆🤭 So i will follow along on Galapagos also😁 I know it's comparing apples to oranges.... But I dont know exactly what we want yet....
  3. Thank you Ken! I have been occupied both on work and private. So my days needed to be at least 30h. So I need to catch up😅
  4. For those on IG🙃 If you want to follow on IG: https://instagram.com/al_be_ra_bo?igshid=MjEwN2IyYWYwYw== It’s in private settings. (So tired of light dressed ladies adding me) Just send a message: hey from Cc I’m posting from my travel in Norway and abroad.
  5. As mentioned before, you can find a sweater tread if you search. Bergen has a Dale and Oleana store, also the usual tourist stores that sell other knitted sweaters and other things. They are located by Bryggen and on the corner of Torgallmeningen and the fish market. As mentioned, they are supreme quality and made in Norway. Inside Bryggen, you have several stores selling local knitted sweaters and local made patterns. Have a look on Dale and Oleana, so you have a clue of what they offer. https://eu.daleofnorway.com https://oleana.no In Flåm you have mall of Norway. They sell everything, including knitted wear. (I was in Flåm last weekend) Mr Norwaylady wanted to visit Ægirs beer garden🤭 In Oslo, Kristiansand and Stavanger you will find sweaters also. In Oslo, you have wider area to walk for the stores. Best of luck finding your favourite!
  6. @kaisatsu and @bookbabe As Kaisatsu said.... it's a bit 🤔 about Viking Planet. Since it's not been very branded or visible for us as Norwegians. But I had to take a deeper look into it. First, they do receive a decent amount of money from Oslo Town. So that means that they are ticking off a lot of boxes to be able to receive money from the public. So its not a scam museum. Second, I had a look at the other Vikings museums in Norway. https://vestfoldmuseene.no/midgard-vikingsenter/en and https://osebergvikingarv.no/eng/ They do have a cooperation together and are licensed as a part of the Oslofjord Viking Trail. https://vestfoldmuseene.no/midgard-vikingsenter/oslofjord-viking-trail So happy visit! I will try to visit, so I can give a report;)
  7. @bookbabe I have not visited the Viking Planet. it looks very good and are supported by the local council Oslo Kommune. The Vikingship museum is closed for renovation. So at Viking Planet you are digital able to “visit” and see ships and moves. Maybe I will bring Mr Norwaylady on a field trip during the weekend🤔🤭🤗
  8. Thank you for taking everyone along your journey @mac_tlc🇳🇴❤️ You have delivered a perfect sale pitch of why a Norway cruise is worth the $$$. I can give you many more reasons! If you want more teasers, feel free to follow: https://instagram.com/al_be_ra_bo?igshid=MjEwN2IyYWYwYw== It’s in private settings. (So tired of light dressed ladies adding me) Just send a message: hey from Cc I’m posting from my travel in Norway and abroad. We don’t have holidays during the summer. (We normally travel in the spring or autumn….) But I had a crush of 🇳🇴🇳🇴 I love my country 😂😂 So I booked 2 weekend trips to Bergen😂😂😂 The only two weekends Mr is not on technical duty 24/7 home🤓🙃 Just need to get some fjords air🤩 So next weekend I’m off by Mr and another adventure in August. (Who says I don’t do travel and holidays in my own country😅) I have a part of me from Boge, close to Bergen. So I always feel home in Bergen region🥰 (I can’t help it) We will do Baroniet in Rosendal, Old travel style Bergen (steam train, ferry and bus) and my favourite, take the fast passenger ferry to Flåm (it travel all The way in Sognefjorden and call at differensiert stops) and The train back to Bergen. And I will do my morning trip up to Fløyen if it’s not pouring down☔️💪🏻 I really feel you for Beyond😔 It’s really a 🤯🤬 deal from X. Fingers crossed you find a solution you can accept and enjoy❤️ Safe travel’s home❤️
  9. Thank you! We prefer the smaller vessels when we travel on Royal. That will be all good😉
  10. Great to follow your adventure! Really miss Canada, we really enjoyed our time there and our Alaska adventure in September last year😁
  11. We are cruising X mainly, so we are most up to date on those sailings.... Any good advice of what the crystal ball of Alaska ships for 2025 will be? Will it be a big ship and a smaller ship? Thinking of Vancouver-Seward / Seward-Vancouver......
  12. SO happy to see your fabulous weather in Olden and Loen. This is why I love Norway🤭😍 When the weather is good, the view and scenery is 🤩🤩
  13. It's a 5/6h hike uphill climbing and crossing 2x hanging bridges. You are walking from 0 to 1011m👍
  14. Loen Skylift is 🤩👍🏻 we took the back way up last visit😅 el-cheapo me didn’t want to pay for the round trip gondola🤣🤣🤣 Let’s just say, it’s not a great idea to be afraid of heights😜 IMG_2359.mov IMG_1526.mov But if you like adventure, The Via Ferrata Loen is a perfect thing to climb🤩😎😁 I’m in😎😁
  15. SO happy for you @mac_tlc😁 The weather is really on your side😎 Looks like you're having a blast!
  16. Norris, I really start to look forward to my next adventure on Edge😅 Last time I was on E/class, Edge was a b2b when she was new in April 2019..... So it's been a while since we sailed Edge class. I feel it in my fingersI feel it in my toes I feel my enthusiasm growing for my future cruise!
  17. Is it the 7-days cruises? Or 9-n greek isle cruises? They offer a good mixture of tours. You can see what tours we did in this sailing. I have just spent 17-days onboard INF. You can see my review/live from the ship. Im booked on 3 more cruises on INF. May 2023 10-n greek isle and Turkey, June 2024 7-n Greek isle and 9-n September 2024 Greek isle. Just ask, I have visited more island by cruise and have tried some of the tours😅
  18. Oh my…. Late to the party with youOh, who needs confetti? We're already falling into the groove…..
  19. Enjoy your stay in Honningsvåg! When you walk the streets of Honningsvåg, you are walking in the streets of Mr Norwaylady🙃 He grew up in one of the houses next to the "hospital/elderly home/emergency central" (you know, everything is smashed together.... no need for large facilities) But I promise you, if you need emergency help, the helicopter or ambulanse aircraft is ready asap🚨 And you will be at at a large hospital in no time🙃 (the reason they lived next to the hospital was that my mother in-law was working as a nurse there) And my father in-law worked as a teacher at the school in Kamøyvær. (you will probably drive by) Fingers crossed for decent weather and not to much ocean fog.
  20. I was onboard 17-days in may/June. The wifi is hit or miss. It's not updated to starlink and new base stations in hardware. They are working on it... So it will be better. Its good connection/ capacity in the lounge on deck 11, theatre when not to crowded and in the dining room and Blu on deck 5. (I really tested and walked to find a decent spot for work) I did finish a lot of emails and uploaded/sendt them away when I went to this areas. as for @Kreative03 the reason you get this message is because you have a private wifi set-up. You needed to click on the i circle and put it to public/ not private surfing. The system on INF need to have your ip-adress. Otherwise you will only get this error message and not able to connect. So it's very important to switch/give access for that on INF.
  21. Just to make it clear, it's MIDNIGHT SUN over the artic circle for the moment.... So the sun always shine, it never gets down;) So it's NO northern lights for the moment. The midnight sun shines in Honningsvåg from 12.may to 29.july. (so it means light 24/7;) Her in Oslo, that means darker, not dark for only 2-3h every night.
  22. 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴 Welcome 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴 So happy you tagged me🤩 I have worked 24/7 since I returned home from INF, X⚓️ The weather is promising😎👍🏻 So happy you got the aft cabins. They are perfect for this itinerary😉 Enjoy Geiranger❤️
  23. The food has really been good, its only minor things that has not been perfect food wise. All fish has arrived perfectly cooked and not dry. So really happy camper for this. And the few times I have walked in the buffet for late lunch. All salads and things has looked fresh and tasted good. (I have to confess, I was so hungry after one of the tour days, I needed to have something before dinner. So I picked up a pice of pizza, vegetar. It was very good in taste and crispy thin, just as I prefer it) So they have really been up to par. All my poached eggs has arrived perfectly boiled. Compared to MDR on Eclipse on our Hawaii adventure, this was excellent and 5 points better. There it was hit or miss, and more miss than hit😆. But the evening buffet, together by the crew was very nice🙃(since we had some nights dinner there.) SIL during easter was not bad, but some more "hit or miss" in MDR and the buffet was far more repetitive than on INF. Even if I dont eat buffet, I do pay attention of what they offer. And they served a new country/area every day for lunch and dinner. (if you read the cruise compass it was listed) So it was one day Greek, German, Mediterranean, Mexican etc. This is something I feel they are so much better on in M-class ships. When we sailed Milli just before the dry-dock in Japan/asia. They delivered a smashing teamed buffet everyday for lunch. It was really great. And I feel that INF is trying to keep this good thing! I now that Mr would have been a very happy camper😍
  24. Maybe I will start the show from Rome to Singapore and then @Jim_Iain will do a excellent live from Singapore to Sydney🤩 ( I know they are booked when I get off🤗😌) Time will tell…….🥰
