I would have been excited to cruise around Australia and New Zealand too, however, when looking at a few other sites, it seems NCL is not visiting the area at all. I only selected the destination, the length (I won't do short cruises) and that's it. No NCL at all. Too bad. Sorry should mention the first few months in '24.

That makes perfect sense, for cleaning purposes, right? That's how I'd see it anyway.

I'm afraid I'm the same. This cruise looks wonderful but I've not seen it offered since I started cruising in 2012. I love longer cruises and I've done the Panama Canal on the Sun from San Fran in 2017, 15 days.

Yea, as far as bring the family and kids, I could always offer to bring my family, 15 Grand kids and 8 adults, that's not too many is it? lol

Yeah, I wondered if that should be made clear, as well. There was someone asking if they could bring their relatives into the lounge, as well and wondered how many of the passengers would like to take over the studio lounge for some privacy and free beverages. I guess they'd have the privacy and we'd be stuck in our studio cabins with other's attempting to look in our "windows"? I'm afraid it would the one and only time I'd be submitting a complaint if that happened.

Interesting questions, I'd like to know the answer as well. I'm booked in a studio end of June on the Escape. Thanks for asking the questions.

Exactly. My DH loved the buffet as well. I still don't go to the buffet, now that I'm alone, unless I have to. I much prefer the MDR, I find it so much more calm and quiet, much more relaxing.

Yes they allow it as well.. NCL is known by how well they treat their solo customers. I do suggest you make reservations at the specialty restaurants. Enjoy

Yes, of course or you can join the group of solos who generally get together each evening. No worries if you want to be alone, Main Dining rooms are still good.

I actually have the same type of thing, so, will I have the same problem? Best I find out I'm thinking. Really sorry for this type of problem "Noob" especially if you own and on have on your person another card with the same problem. Scary. I guess they're trying to reduce the amount of Fraud but there should be some kind of notice, I've received none.

I always seem to manage to have a lot of fun with solo group and not just for dining. Some of us end up going on tours, dances, shows, etc.... lots of fun. Hope you end up having a great time on your cruise, good luck!!

Things change, I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you can get on the ship the same time, which we usually seem to, it should be fine. Right? On the Escape next month it departs at 5, the one in Nov. on the Pearl is 5:30, no problem. Variety is the spice of life.

I do know that NCL is strict about the amount they allow. They put restrictions in place when some px were exchanging too much currency. So that wouldn't impact your situation. Sorry I can't be any help. Enjoy your cruise.
