Hello folks from rainy Devon! It was a long and rainy journey but we are safely here in Lynton. The house is lovely and I hope the weather cheers up so I can get some gorgeous photos. Here is our view from the lounge

Lovely view.  Hope you enjoy your visit down here and hope the weather improves but don't hold your breath!!

Just had a picnic watching the sea.

It has been heavily raining all morning.

Some of these seagull's in my photo had half my stottie.

Pauline has a hairdresser's appointment in 15 minutes but it is only 5 minutes drive away.

It is obviously your turn to have the some of the rain we had yesterday, although we have still got the wind, admittedly not as strong as yesterday. It is nice to see the sun again.

Yes it is. When I peeked inside one they seemed to be very claustrophobic and the virtual balcony makes them appear more open.

I agree. We opt for a balcony cabin it is nice to step out and have some fresh air and some peace and quiet away from everyone else sometimes.

It's really cold and dismal here this morning. You can feel winter in air now. Where did summer and autumn go?  I think I must have lost them somewhere🤔

It's not just cold and dismal here it's pouring with rain and blowing a gale down here in Cornwall. Had to take my car for it's MOT today and hubby insisted on coming with me to drive me back so I didn't get soaked.

I find once you have narrowed down to a specific cruise sitting at home with a brochure open at the deck-plans, phone up the cruise line.  You may then discuss things with the agent and sound out whether you can move up a grade or type for a low cost and agree on what you want.

    Regards John

Likewise although, I find the deck plans in the brochure to be too small, so on the last couple of occasions I've had the plans loaded on to my ipad so I can zoom in to see where they are.
