Lovely sunny day down here, but cold. Washing finished and about to put it out on the line, then a trip down to Asda followed by a day of baking is on the cards. Didn't get up to Truro on Wednesday as planned, so went yesterday and got stuck in traffic due to a broken down car. Managed to get into town eventually and got in the lift in Marks and just before it reached the ground floor was told that the lift is overloaded🥴 There was only one other lady and myself in it😲 I know I need to loose some weight, but I didnt thnk I was that heavy!🤷‍♀️🤣 Needless to say I didn't get in the same lift when I returned!

I haven't been able to access my account for a few days and just receive the same message as others are. I can access my various cruises via mypersonaliser though!

Morning all. Looks like a bright sunny day for us today and looks a though it will be staying that way for the next few days☺️ Need to take a trip out to Truro today, as I have run out of cotton and need some buttons for the shirt I'm sewing and one or two other bits while I'm up there. Also need to take the menu to the pub to let them know what everyone has chosen for the meal that is booked there for the family and call in at Mum's too.

Drove up to Exeter on Saturday for a Christmas Fayre which took longer than normal due to the roadworks, although not too bad but driving home was horrendous due to the rain and spray, but had a good day in all.

I quite agree. I have suffered from migraines too for as long as I can remember I have regular MRI's as I am on surveillance programme due to having had a brain tumour a few years back, so although it is noisy I suppose I have got used to it! At least when I say I'm not right in the head I've got proof! 🤣

I am asked if I have a CD with me or if I what radio channel I would like to listen to me. What I dislike the most, after the noise, is the voice that says "The next scan will last 5 mins, the next scan will last 1 min . . ." I ask them to turn it off, I don't want to know😒 Good luck for tomorrow.

Monring all, Been up to Truro first thing as my daughter had a dr's appointment just after 8am and gave my son a lift to work at the same time, as he works at the pharmacy attached to the practice. Coming home drove through torrential rain for few minutes then got blinded by the sun! It's another of those days, rain then sun then rain etc. The wind has also just picked up again in the last few minutes, at least I'm home now and where I will remain for the rest of the day. Planning on making some mince pies later, but need to sort the freezer out first.

Hope everyone is well and enjoys their day. Another day of sunshine and showers here by the look of it. The sun is shining at the minute but it was proceeded by a hefty downpour. Meeting another friend for coffee this morning, I would walk, but in this weather I would probably get drowned before I get to the end of the road!!

Just got back from meeting a friend for coffee, didn't realise how long it was since we last got together for a chat😲. Everytime we meet up we say we must get together more often and them time passes. This time we have set a date to meet up again before Christmas!

We did have an afternoon tea in the MDR when on Iona in January, but I must say there were not many people in there and it left a lot to be desired. It was very disappointing!!

Hadn't planned anything today, except to get my Christmas Tesco delivery booked, but my daughter arrived at my door at 7.30 am to pick up her medication that she had forgotten. She is at present house sitting for her sister who's on holiday and was going to get the bus back, but as we were sitting here chatting it was getting darker and darker so said I would give her a lift back. Stopped at Asda en-route, which is where we were when the heavens opened! Driving along the lanes was more like driving in and across rivers due to all water draining out of the fields and surface water, only to get home for the sun to come out!!

Like wise. I got up when I woke up at just after 5 am and logged on at about 5.45am and but was 21315 in the queue and had shopped and checked out by 6.30 with an order delivery for 23rd as 24th had all gone. I also placed an order for the previous week, straight afterwards and the 23rd had all gone by then gone too.

I had my last birthday on board Iona, my mother and husband had mentioned the fact to the maitre'd and waiters, but I didn't get Happy Birthday sung. The maire'd did however give me some flowers!

Another lovely sunny day down here. Washing on the line and received a call from Tesco van driver asking if he could deliver my order as he is over half an hour early! All present and correct no items missing or subsituted, so now all put away and not hanging around waiting☺️ Learnt yesterday that my brother-in-law's, brother-in-law died so spent yesterday evening researching train times and hotels so we can attend the funeral. Last day of work this evening as I handed in my notice during the week, just hope they are not playing Christmas songs on their music😒, although I have had an e-mail telling me it is only 6 weeks today til Christmas. Hope everyone has a good Sunday.

We were on her in January and had a lovely time. I expect you will as well.

A nice day down here, partial cloud and sunny and quite mild. Got some pastry to use up so will be making some sausage rolls later and freezing them to get ahead for Christmas. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
