Dides has brought these cabin photos over from passengers posting on Facebook on the SUN , during the first two cruises. Sorry that dides & others had their first cruises cancelled.

The Discovery is a beautiful ship! I certainly like it and the Enchanted the best. Not impressed at all with the SUN. It has been a real let down for me- just going by reports of the Sanctuary, narrower cabins, smaller balconies etc. Discovery felt like home to me.

Just now the Princess website has removed the Signature benefits for 16604 etc. I contacted everyone at Princess I could think of to make them aware of this matter I am completely disappointed in several aspects of the SUN and am not considering this ship anymore.

Oh, how I agree. Are we going to just accept Princess false advertising? The problem lies with the leadership or lack of it! Right now I can still book cabin 15603 with Signature Benefits, their website tells me to enjoy! To OP: I have read a post where someone in last weeks cruise received an extra $200 pp as a Goodwill OBC.

Thank you again. I have one cabin booked for D0-aft and there are NO comments on the Travel Summary. I have other cabins booked on both the Sun & Star, all are in a S9 category. There are NO comments for any of the S9 bookings either. I booked online through Princess and one last week with the FC Andrew on the Regal. I am only posting this to assist others who may be in the same situation. I don’t expect my booking to be honoured as it was advertised. However, I have screenshots & printed out the proof from website advertising and I will speak to GS on-board the SUN. I would be horrified at the treatment I might receive if my neighbours realized I was in the Sun deck or Signature Restaurant. I have received some very unkind remarks about this issue. I am logging out and lay this to rest, finally. Dog

This is exactly what I see from Princess website when I book today using my iPhone. Above post shows my cruise today- from the laptop- I can book a guaranteed for my dates and it shows benefits. listen I am done explaining as it does not matter what anyone else sees. I cannot imagine them honouring it since my fare is less the $1600.

At this point I really don’t care. They owe those first 3 cruise people a lot more then me. Princess, has let down many loyal customers and I hope they give the full paying passengers better compensation then I’ve heard of.

And, I am the one who asked Future Cruise staff member Andrew on the Regal Princess Feb 18-25/24 cruise and he verified that I would receive Signature benefits- eat in Signature restaurant & use sun deck. thanks

I can’t find the photo posted of the letter- it was brownish, I think. Oh, and casino- only can smoke in there during open hours & if you are actively playing.

Chat message from ship- $99 pp sea days, $79 pp port days for Sanctuary. $499 per day cabana up to 4 passengers.

Choose a cruise that doesn’t have availability for this. It is also there for a guarantee. The screen I posted is a pop up before I get to the page you posted. I am going to leave the topic now. I shared that my D0- aft 15603 was under $1600 CAD & now over $2300. I can’t see myself spending much time in Sun deck and plan to eat in Specialty restaurants 4 nights. I do expect many will be disappointed if it is false advertising.

It says exactly the same on my Princess site right now!

I was on Regal until Feb25 th. Was not enforced, but I have heard of it in the past when people were putting Christmas decorations on the doors.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Princess site is an error, after watching things unfold this past week!

False advertising then? To be clear- the premium deluxe balcony cabins that were designated and still is on Princess website are 15603, 15604, 16603, 16604. I do not see this correction on my screen from Princess website. still willing to wait for word from actual passengers in one of the cabins I listed.

Sad to say, this is one of the designated smoking areas. Casino & forward area of ship are as well. Passenger posted letter she got in cabin about this. Fb

The lady who posted these photos on fb, just received a Goodwill credit of $200 and said she received $60 credit pp, not per day, at the start of the cruise.

Depends on your travel insurance policy. I have heard otherwise from some.

I loved the aft facing balconies, but as prices increased I found that a BW on emerald E432 was a bargain! No obstruction straight out. Was not noisy near elevator. you do get more space & a bath tub with a mini suite- not my choice.

True. Although, my fb friend, whom I cannot name on here, has had two photo ops with JP this week. JP is visible to others, as well. I do agree the SUN was not ready to sail, but see/ hear some passengers are ok with this.
