Adding: over putting you outside in the heat to wait for transfer that did not come & resulting in you needing medical attention I do agree medical took care of aunt in a timely manner

It was for 2023 summer Emerald. it does not show $1.00 deposit until you go through to choosing your cabin. it is only on some cruises. the Canada/ New England 2023 cruise is over $800/ cabin more then I am paying for same cruise in Enchanted this year. for sale- not in sale

Princess definitely let you & your aunt down. over the bill you are not responsible for. Over keeping your aunt’s documents Over not being able to put through payment to aunt’s on-board account Over the luggage hassle over having you in close contact to Covid + passéngers over not being able to find you a hotel, BNB room. ( they did not put the effort in) support crews are probably not trained, new to the job, understaffed you would not be let into the hospital in Italy

To OP- I see only one post of yours on cruise critic. If you had used this website prior to travel you would have noticed this advice from others. Hope you get reimbursed through insurance or cruise line. And get well.

OP- you are not responsible for your aunt’s Princess charges. save all copies of documentation & dispute credit card. No need to wait.

Does Italy still offer free emergency medical care to foreigners? I heard about this from my expat friends several years ago. I made use of it in Rome & Venice & was only charged for my X-ray. Insurance was not involved, although I had it. I knew about Italy’s strict Covid hospital procedures, as a friend passed away alone there last year. Princess has really let your aunt & you down. I am so sorry to hear this.

I see the Emerald 2023 $1.00 deposit when I price out a cabin. I am booked this year at $800/ cabin less.

Is there a $1.00 deposit for Canada/ New England fall 2022 cruise? Heard elites could start booking today, others book July 12 th? I do not see it yet.

My friend from Long Beach recommended the 2 Hyatts- close to shops& hotel Maya- a bit away from shops/ restaurants. Maya was a Hilton.

A nice area is Santa Monica. Right in the beach by the Farris wheel. Nice walkable area. Lowe’s, Shutters on the Beach hotels , I have tried to stay there but usually sold out.

I think the Westin is in Long Beach, not San Pedro. I looked into staying there, but did not.

Enchanted Princess uses Brooklyn pier to embark in October 2022. We are on the Canada/New England cruise, staying one night in theatre district. Booked hotel .& Hamilton tickets for Broadway show & will taxi/ Uber to ship. No need to stay near ship.

I stayed 3 days at Long Beach Hilton. Booked executive- no lounge there, 2 free drinks. And earthquake damage to rooftop pool, not told until check in. breakfast buffet was ok. We had car, but not a good location to walk to main sites. do not recommend this one.

this will be in your Travel Summary in Prrsonalizer yes a rep from Princess meets you outside baggage claim & directs you to coach yes, the rep will give you time to depart from hotel to pier by their coach/ van sorry that I answered this above yes, on/ off coach & porters take it right at terminal Hilton is usually ok my suggestions are posted above. Sorry none of us could help you earlier. Have a wonderful cruise.

From LAX by taxi, Uber, Lyft is easy Hilton & a Crowne Plaza that many of us book ourselves in San Pedro with shuttle to pier. at end of cruise take princess transfer to airport.
