  1. Thank you! I plan to - just have to get WiFi...holding off until Memorial Day hoping there will be a big sale on it.
  2. I'm confused - your key cards to your door? Why would they have taken them?
  3. Yup. And unlike others who "changed" it to the same thing, I got a "you cannot use a previous password" message. So the inconsistency is all over the place.
  4. Thanks! When I said "stuck" that was in reference to the advice to choose my stateroom wisely. That ship has sailed. I got what I got - I think 10248 (stuck in the password debacle so I can't double check). I do have an Aqua Class cabin - I got so spoiled in Blu on the Summit I upgraded to Aqua after booking on board. So yeah, I'll have the Thermal Suite - and Blu for breakfast and dinner. I well remember the hard upsell on the additional classes - on the Summit the fitness center guy actually walked away from me when I politely but firmly stood my ground and said that I might well book more classes once I try them - but I got burned before with signing up for a package of classes and they were not what I was expecting. Massages...again I always get stuck with someone who ignores my "No Sales Please" and goes in for the hard sell at the end, so I try to avoid those. I'm gluten-free, so that complicates where I can grab food to a degree. But maybe if I have a bigger breakfast and aim for an earlier dinner I can get by with just snacks here and there. Ports are Aruba (currently have Small Group Jeep... I can't remember the full name and now I'm caught in the "password is not correct" thing, so I'm not going into my account for a bit to see if it straightens itself out); Bonaire (currently have Woodwind booked for snorkeling); and Curacao (currently booked on the Irie Tours tour that includes snorkeling with turtles).
  5. At this point regardless I'm stuck. Only a few solo cabins and suites left - both at higher prices than I paid. I'm not one who likes to live in my cabin - it's a place to sleep and mostly that's it.
  6. Thanks. oh, I always sit near the back or somewhere I can escape easily because I’m super picky about entertainment. I have no shame in walking out if something isn’t worth the time to me. Lol.
  7. July 27. I was looking at both, but when I booked there was some special on Sunset Verandas for solos where they were cheaper than even the Solo IVs on the 27th. Then once AQ was no longer bundled with internet and drink package (outside of the solo IVs it's WAY pricey for a solo to book AI since it's doubled other than the solo IVs), my TA was able to get me a super rate on that.
  8. Thanks! Will check it out! I was finishing the aforementioned Anthem cruise when you were embarking on this, so I missed it. Thank you!
  9. Thanks. That is ugh about Blu - I'd rather eat earlier. 😞 (Weirdly on Disney I prefer late dining, but everywhere else I like eating earlier.)
  10. Thanks. That's annoying about golf in Eden. That was my quiet place to curl up during the day with a book on the Edge in 2020.
  11. I'm scheduled on an ABC cruise on the Beyond this summer. Looking at it on the website, it's basically full - only a handful of solo IVs and a few suites are available. I had a not super great experience on the Anthem of the Seas in February with a completely full ship, so this is making me pretty nervous. I'm in Aqua, so there's that advantage - BUT Aqua is totally sold out as well. So... Has anyone else been on a totally full Beyond (or Ascent since they're pretty much twins)? How bad was it??
  12. It is supposed to be on a space-available basis. If Aqua is sold out, it may be more difficult (or I'd hope it would be) since Blu is the assigned Aqua dining room. ETA - I make that parenthetical comment as someone in Aqua on a sailing this summer where Aqua is sold out. I seriously hope that they take that into account when deciding whether to seat Suite guests.
  13. This is exactly what I do. Yes, I'm on WW but that is a program for living, not dieting. I will do stairs as much as possible and use the walking track, and I'll be aware of what I'm eating and do some things like ask that my servers not bother with heating up gluten-free bread for me at dinner (easy since I'm usually solo...or with my parents who are gluten-eating, so they can have their bread and I'm not tempted), but I don't deny myself. One week (or 8 days in the case of my last and next cruises) is not going to make or break me. I know how to get back on track.
  14. SV means sunset veranda. That means at the aft of the ship. There won't be a Sunset Veranda at a forward or midship location.
  15. No. Standard gratuities cover servers in the MDR(s) and those working in the OVC and other no extra fee places.
  16. Recommendations? I'll be staying in that area prior to my Beyond cruise this summer.
  17. I just looked and Reflection is out of Ft. Lauderdale and Beyond is out of Miami for next summer (2025).
  18. I've never seen Celebrity use that term. (Or Disney, which is what I have most of my cruises on.) I'd still just say the buffet rather than trying to be fancy.
  19. Thanks. That's what I thought. That's why I was confused when the OP said they ate lunch mostly "in the lido". I was trying to figure out why (and how) they were eating in the pool.
