Which version fits on the "king" bed on RCL? I have been reading a lot of comments about how hard the beds are and I want to be prepared. We are flying so taking a foam topper will not work. However, since we want the beds to be configured together I don't want a Klymit that only covers 2/3 of the mattress either.
My cruise is coming up quick so I need to get a couple of them ordered if I am going to do so.
Also, if you have used an inflatable mattress for RCL beds, how did it work out? Was it a big improvement?
TIA
@island lady Just got off Serenade of the seas and she had one she was using. If she sees this, she can comment on what she got and how well it worked.

Voyager class is certainly not the best for a cold weather home port.
No. but it was neat walking out of WJ and seeing the pool chairs buried in snow,
Muster drill not so much, although once they did move indoors due to ice on the deck.

I know, terrible itinerary. I guess if I just wanted to spend a week on the ship it would be OK but I do look forward to port calls.
When we were living in Ct, we did a couple of those on Explorer. The only good thing were the last of a B3B, the other 2 legs being 9 to 11 days. It was a B2B that had a big snow storm, so they let us stay on

I do. Even with Q class design quirks it is a very functional ship. This morning the Windjammer had a very relaxing atmosphere and we all know how that last breakfast can be.
Met a couple of bartenders that I enjoyed and that seems to be a little harder to do on O class with so many people competing for their attention. Though sailing Allure at around 50% capacity was a dream and isn't likely to every happen again.
I didn't think the Windjammer food was quite as good as last year but I didn't go hungry for sure. I always found something that I enjoyed. Sorrento's did not disappoint. I expected the pizza to be bad and it lived up to my expectations.
The entertainment will never equal O class but anyone with RCI would not expect it to be on O class level. It is certainly way above the old RCI Singers and Dancers level.
The ship is still meticulously maintained, the crew is friendly and helpful. There is enough to do on the ship but not too much. I leave this ship feeling more relaxed than I do on O class. I still love O class for all it has to offer and I do miss the Aqua Theater and ice rink when on other class ships. But I don't get much down time when on O class.
The bottom line is I would have no issue booking Odyssey and hope I am able to sail on her again. I still think she is an awesome ship.
Only problem is she is going to Bayonne, so the 7 day cruises are the PC , Nassau, and Coco Cay itinerary.

FlightAware works well for this. They have an app and it works in a browser. It's like MarineTraffic for planes. It's amazing to see how many planes are in the sky at any point in time.
I prefer Flightradar24, it is much quicker to come up.
If a family member is traveling , flightaware works really well for following a flight. When at home, if I hear something unusual, flightradar24 comes on for the airspace around my house, and I can identify them quickly.
One that has been pretty busy lately is the Florida Highway Patrol. The have a Skyhawk that does speed enforcement north of my house, generally for 2-3 hours starting at 7am, on I95 northbound. They generally do not do southbound because there is a restriction of PBI airspace.

We are on Oasis and are currently “stuck “ at Coco Cay. Weather wasn’t great, but sun had begun to shine when about 12:30 they announced they were closing Coco Cay and return to the ship immediately. The waves were very big and we got drenched on the pier. About 1:30 the captain announced we were leaving as soon as Freedom was away. They left (they were on the leeward side). It’s now 5:00 and we’re still here. Rumor has it that the thrusters couldn’t move us away from the pier. Not sure what happens now.
WEather station on Coco Cay indicates 50mph wind out of the NW, gusts at 55mph.

I must be spatially challenged. How is the sun up in the Pacific when it is still here?
Two reasons. the west coast of south America is close to the same longitude
and it is summer there. Days are longer.

My insurance says 90 days, and the drug store encourages 90 days.

7-10 days is what is quoted by the freight shipping companies as added to the transit time around the cape to the Med due to the current situation in the Suez Canal. Obviously that would not include any port stops, but it fits in the timeframe of that segment, given that freighters don’t typically cruise at 20 knots.
more like half that.

When you were in Alaska, didn't you go on any of the glaciers?
When we did an Alaska cruise, we did a helicopter excursion to one, so we were standing on an unborn iceberg.

I messed up. Totally missed the 45 day window for check in and just got a 2:30 boarding time. I’m on Odyssey and I wanted to make ifly and North Star reservations for port days. Is this going to be a failure now?
I’m in a Junior Suite and it says expedited boarding. Will that help to get us on earlier or will the 2:30 time overrride that?
Thanks for your input.
Suite checkin should get in when ever you want.

A bit of trivia, -40 degrees is the same temperature, F or C.

Starting tomorrow we will have a high in the 20’s with possible snow , a few years ago we had a string of freezing days and electricity was lost for many , one of my friends had a hundred thousand dollars in damage since his pipes froze . We were fine . My sister is flying home to Denver from Florida today and Denver has a high of 1 today.
In Pa, we turned the water on to a slight dribble to prevent water from freezing in the pipes. In a home I had in Ct, it lost power for about 5 days, I don't remember how cold, but I left the water dribble in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was fine, along with draining the baseboard het pipes.
Only problem was the washing machine had a single handle shutoff. Forgot about that.

That is normal for Fla but not 60 degrees in my part of NY.
Actually yesterday set a record high. WE had a SSW wind bringing warmer air from the south.

3/4 day cruises all go to Nassau and Coco Cay from the Florida east coast.
Turnaround days are Monday amd Friday. Only question is which ships.

Which is why I posted the actual numbers.😉
You posted Max capacity, that is lifeboat capacity. The ship is full when all staterooms have passengers.

My experience has been that the thermostat will be at max cool when you board.
Too cold for me, but that be all the cooling . Don't know if it gets cooler at night, I imagine that is what you are worried about.

Lots of folks looking at an app called wind.
It's ugly
I am sure the Captain is also, When I met up with @Sea Dog in the DL on Adventure, the Captain came in. We were having some rough seas and he was showing us how he used that app on his phone to select an alternate route .

Mentioned something about starboard waves exceeding the ships specifications
Guess whose balcony is on starboard side🤣
Are there options. Perhaps an alternate route.

In Florida , by law, an HOA is wholly comprised of the owners of the units.
Early condos had the developer retaining ownership of common areas, and charging a fee for the use of those facilities (like pools, clubhouse etc), The state put a stop to that practice and the control of those facilities passed to the unit owners.
