  1. In Australia it's mandatory to carry an alcoholic beverage wherever you go. ๐Ÿค”
  2. Correlation does not imply causation.
  3. It is a shame. We wanted to get this one printed life size for our bedroom wall.
  4. We've booked a 29 day itinerary. It was booked as a single cruise and it only shows one voyage number on the booking confirmation. When I go into my Captain's Circle account I can see that we will receive 3 credits for this voyage, so I assume it is actually a B2B2B but I have no idea where the segments start and end.
  5. Our downloaded images were JPGs. And congratulations on the extra credit. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  6. On a cruise earlier this year we bought one of the photo packages. The downloaded images ranged from 1.3mb to 2.7mb.
  7. Personally we found that Caribe deck was super convenient and we could easily get to the places we visited most. We are buffet diners, not MDR diners, and it was very easy to walk up to Horizon Court level from Caribe. We like to roam around the ship quite a lot and we found everything was easily accessible from Caribe. We also duck back to our cabin a lot in between activities and never found it to be too far, and almost always took the stairs even though we're not particularly fit or healthy! I haven't experienced Baja or Emerald decks on Coral or any equivalent ships to have an opinion on those decks but would definitely book on Caribe again.
  8. What do you actually want to know? We were in C505 on Coral in February for a PNG itinerary. This cabin was midships, next to the bumped out section, and we loved it. One of the things we liked about its position was that it was close to the stairs but not so close that the elevator traffic bothered us. We try to avoid taking the elevators and we found that from Caribe deck we could easily walk up or down the stairs to any of the public areas without too much difficulty.
  9. It's not you, it's the software! Try this: https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/Article/23917
  10. I would revamp the Captain's Circle loyalty scheme. There seems to be a high proportion of Elite cruisers amongst the Princess user base but once you reach Elite there is no great incentive to keep booking cruises. There is no higher level to attain, and there seems to be a lot of dissatisfaction with the perception that Princess is gradually removing Elite entitlements and devaluing this status level. I would keep the current levels because they are valued by many Princess cruisers but I would repackage the benefits to make them more cost effective for Princess. I would then reintroduce a points-based milestone scheme where rewards are unlocked for every 5 cruise credits achieved, and credits can be accumulated for redemption on bigger and better rewards. I would have the rewards catalogue include things that are valued and coveted by the Princess user base. For example, a seat at a Chef's Table, priority Sanctuary bookings, dinner with the captain, Ultimate Ship Tour, bridge tour, and I'm sure there are many other things that could be included. The problem with the current scheme is that different people value different things so it's extremely difficult to please the majority. The ability to choose rewards would please more of the people more of the time.
  11. Buy yourself a nice medallion holder, perhaps a bracelet or pendant. The photo gallery sells a few gadgets, plus a range of products you can have customised with your own photos or photos the shop photographers have taken of you. Book the ultimate balcony breakfast or dinner (or both). As a solo traveller it will be a lot of food, but a lovely experience. Does Emerald have a thermal suite or Sanctuary? Both nice experiences. Or treat yourself to a Lotus Spa package. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  12. No, us Aussies seem to miss out on a lot of special deals. ๐Ÿ˜” We have booked a Singapore round trip and our FCD OBC has been applied in $USD.
  13. I don't know about the rest of the wold, but Australians no longer need the K-ETA, per updated advice from Smart Traveller. www.smartraveller.gov.au/destinations/asia/south-korea-republic-korea
  14. I'm glad I'm not the only one with a holiday spreadsheet! It doesn't feel like a real holiday if it's not mapped out in cells. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Have a wonderful trip. โ›ด๏ธ
  15. Thank you for the wonderful review! My husband and I love the Diamond and have two cruises booked on her in the next 18 months. It's good to know that there were multiple types of passes available for Izumi. Other posts have suggested that you only have the option to purchase for the whole cruise, so it will be interesting to see what options we have available in February and September 2024. Japan is such a beautiful country, with so much to explore. It sounds like your itinerary gave you a chance to sample many different aspects.
  16. Yes, we've always found the buffet to be uncrowded on embarkation day, at least until the dinner rush starts. We love checking out what's new in the buffet and reacquainting ourselves with our favourite things. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  17. That's a fabulous idea, thanks so much for sharing! โค๏ธ And yes, I would love a copy of the letter please. My email address is kellyansapansa at gmail dot com. ๐Ÿ™
  18. We've NEVER been chosen for the Chef's Table. I'm very envious of those who have attended multiple times!
  19. We like to check out our stateroom first. We've been fortunate that on every cruise so far it has been ready for us straight away. We'll do the muster, then visit the buffet. We'll go for a walk and check out the entire ship to orient ourselves and head for the Sanctuary to make a booking or two. We'll also check out the schedule of events and work out what we're doing on each day. Then we'll find a good viewing spot for sail away, either on our balcony if it's facing the right direction, or on one of the decks. ๐Ÿนโ›ด๏ธ
  20. On the Coral in February we still received fantastic service from crew members who got to know us and our preferences. The medallion does not prevent this happening and we didn't ever feel the service was impersonal. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  21. An oldie but a goodie from my home state. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  22. Good to know, thank you, although it really didn't matter to me where where the CVP was located, as my experience was very good.
  23. I actually don't know where she is based, I didn't ask. The number had a Sydney prefix but that doesn't mean the call centre is in Sydney. She did not speak with an Australian accent though so she may have been in the US. Or does Princess have an offshore call centre in the Philippines perhaps?
  24. Thank you so much for the explanation! โค๏ธ
  25. Interesting. Does the form require you to attach evidence of your shareholding?
