  1. not to add confusion but I am on Crown now and if you go into Ocean Concierge there are several packages including the original classic soda package and the original coffee packages. Of course YMMV. I did not complete the steps to compete a purchase but all showed as available.
  2. On crown now and can confirm no curtain. Also can confirm magnetic hooks work on ceiling. Suggest getting a shower curtain and some magnetic hooks.
  3. If you are still in the period where you can make changes without penalty (+45 days) then you can go into manage flights and change the flights. You will basically search for new flights ( which may or may not be the ones you currently have). When you prepare the search select the fare class you want ( premium economy for example), pick the new flights in the class you want and if you are ok with the new price complete the transaction. if you in the penalty phase ( -45 days) then look on your travel summary to see if your air has been ticketed ( if ticketed there will be an actual ticket number next to your air details). If the air has been ticketed then contact the airline to find out if you can purchase an upgrade. Some airlines will not let you purchase advance seating or pay for upgrades until the air is actually ticketed, so I always recommend waiting until the ticket has been issued.
  4. Take a look at your travel summary and you will see the requirement for your specific cruise. Here is an excerpt from a Travel Summary for an April Panama Canal - Ocean to Ocean ( Fort Lauderdale to LA) and it says passports must be valid for 6 months after completion of travel.
  5. If you pre-purchase you will get a voucher in your cabin. You take the voucher to the shop and select the size you want. If it isn’t a gift, it’s just as easy to wait and purchase once you are on the ship and can see what you are getting.
  6. Yes, they can be booked in their own cabin.
  7. We did 360 a couple of weeks ago on Discovery and Magdalena was our host, it was a truly fantastic experience and the highlight of our cruise. Part of the fun of 360 is not knowing what will happen next… where the journey will take you. Guests were asked not to spoil the surprises for others, hopefully people will continue to see the value of not giving away too many details.
  8. Did this on 2/20 on Discovery without issue. Hopefully same for you!
  9. It doesn’t appear to be consistent. On Royal a few months ago we called room service to swap and they said talk to steward because they handle it now. On discovery last month we asked steward and he said call room service.
  10. We prefer the mini suite because we enjoy having the extra seating the sofa provides and the larger bathroom! We spend a lot of time in our cabin so we like the extra space. I am guessing that the prices you mentioned are for a minimum bid rather than an upgrade you would purchase through Princess or your TA. If so how much you bid ( if you bid above minimum) will be up to you. The mini suites and Club Class mini suites are basically the same layout. The biggest perk with them is Club Class dining - which has a separate area of the dining room, no reservations needed and you get an extra dish offered that isn’t offered in the main dining area. Only you can decide if that perk is worth the extra money or not.
  11. My guess is that the Ocean Concierge pricing on Discovery simply hadn’t caught up with the new corporate pricing.
  12. Departed 2/25/23 on Discovery. I just checked my March 17 sailing on Crown and the classic soda package is back in the Personalizer and is now $17.69 per day,
  13. Here are pictures of the premium desserts offered on Discovery Princess.
  14. @mellon1 the token machine is in the laundry area on the wall. Washer takes about 30 min and dryer about 30- 40 min. There are signs in the laundry by the machines indicating how long machines typically take. I usually put my clothes in and set a timer on my phone so I am back just as the machine is finishing.
  15. @SleepyBunnythe machines take tokens only so no need to bring cash. Just scan your medallion to purchase tokens. The purchase will be added to your shipboard account. @cruzky you can preorder 375 ml bottles of spirits via the Cruise Personalizer.
  16. Thank you for the update! I appreciate this information, I hadn’t seen that change!
  17. On Discovery they haven’t referred to it as new package, passenger services only said they are transitioning to selling via the app ( although we found the packages in the free Ocean Concierge and not the app). I haven’t heard anything from Enchanted, sorry!
  18. We both have a coffee package and have been getting tea and hot cocoa at no extra charge, including when ordering through the app. When we get to checkout it shows zero as amount owed. not sure if all ships are handling the same but that’s how it’s working on Discovery this week.
  19. On discovery princess 2/25/23 they had the various packages available for purchase in Ocean Concierge including classic soda and the coffee package. waitstaff approached us in the bar and asked if we wanted to purchase a package. It may be different on other ships but here is a screenshot of what was available:
  20. You accept the terms and agree to make payment when you submit your bid but you credit card isn’t automatically charged when bid is accepted. Once you are notified you have a winning bid you then pay for it ( either through Personalizer, your TA/PVP or by calling Princess). 😄
  21. If you order your medallion to match your loyalty color it will be gold. You can also order (and pay for) custom colors.
  22. No worries Coffee, tea and espresso drinks are still available for purchase at the IC without any type of package.
  23. They have crew walking around on Discovery selling the coffee package today and it’s available for purchase via Ocean Concierge
