Dining seems to be an issue on both Celebrity and Royal. Been on the Apex twice since April and Royal four times including the Anthem Xmas cruise with my daughters and two grandchildren (2 and8). Food was substandard on all of these cruises (including in Chops on the Oasis where they tried to make my lamb chops three times! overcooked and grey…) On the Apex, we loved the oysters but the “hot” dishes, not so much (cold, flavourless…) Problems on Anthem: overcooked steaks, cold food, uncoordinated service, etc. Husband and daughter had a baked brie, it was undercooked; they took them back and brought new ones— both frozen🥴. But the offerings from the kids menu—- yuck. One night the 8 year old had fries that looked like they had been sitting overnight. She ate half of them before we noticed 🥺. Anyway, she vomited them up. She had a “grilled” cheese which had three slices of bread and two slices of cheese. The bread was white, dried, not toasted, the cheese, not melted at all. I booked an 8 day cruise in YC. I know the one cruise change states “date or itinerary”. I want to change the date with similar itinerary but 1) Does it have to be on the same ship? 2) Does it have to be the same 8 day length? 3) If it is another 8 day sailing, same ship, different date but lower price, do they give me the lower price? I booked a Yacht Club cabin where it is stated it includes “premium internet”. To me, this implies it is the best available and should include streaming; however, it also states “Browse-two devices”. So, does it include streaming?

We got matched to Diamond. In exploring various cruises, my number does not work at all for the discount but my husband’s number works/is recognized on some cruises but not others…anyone have thoughts as to why??

Hi, Another Canadian here. I have done this several times. I just exchange my money to USD in Canada and on boarding go to guest services and ask to put the cash into cabin number####. They give you a receipt. I find this the easiest, most straightforward way but I do check with the “giftees” that they have the credit showing on their accounts— so far haven’t had any issues.

Can someone explain the differences between a yacht club suite and a regular suite? Specifically, do regular suites have access to a private lounge and/or pool area? I am noticing that people are getting price adjustments for cruises after September but on the Royal site, it says ”The Cruise with Confidence Best Price Guarantee program allows guests to take advantage of better rates up to 48 hours prior to sail date! Guests must have booked on or before March 31, 2022, for sailings that depart before September 30, 2022 and they can request the difference of their booked rates versus any rate reduction. The difference in pricing will be added to the booking as an onboard credit, inside final payment, and it’ll be applied within 14 business days, and a new confirmation will be generated with the Onboard Credit value.” I have asked a TA to reprice a Xmas cruise and she tells me I can’t because of this. Anyone else have this issue??
