Which specialty restaurant for breakfast?

We paid for the Unlimited Dining Package. I am trying to make reservations at the specialty restaurants prior to the cruise. They website is trying to charge for the reservations. Do I have to wait until we board the ship?

This is our first time on the Navigator of the Seas. We have cruised on Royal in the past but always in a balcony cabin. Does anyone know what the suite perks are on this ship? Thank you!

The food, service, and experience was exquisite! The Chef's Table does not come close!

We got off the Discovery today. Catch was not open the whole cruise. It appeared the staff is still in training.

We were in a suite but we would have happily paid for the experience.

I am seeing spa tours and such. I am not talking events in the same vein as you. My husband and I have never been fans of the various entertainment events nor the shows. We are platinum and in a full suite and well aware we will board earlier than most. We have always been on board around 11 AM. We have not sailed since Covid thus we were wondering if the 11:30 boarding was set in stone.

What is the earliest boarding time for the Discovery in San Pedro. My app says 11:30 to 2:30 for boarding. This contradicts the the Journey View activities time line which indicates events are starting onboard at 10:30.

As if now, it is only on the Enchanted and Discovery.

You have to go to La Bufadora at high tide. It does not impress at other times. Ensenada is not really a port for children. I really can't think of anything that is geared towards children unless it is warm and you go to the beach south of town. I have been going to Ensenada for years. We camped on the beach down there for years.

We are on the Discovery in November. We booked a suite. I got the invitation for 360 last month. I booked it as soon as I saw the email. There are 2 seatings per evening - 5 and 7:30, 20 people per seating. A couple of the nights were already completely booked.

J Trani's is better.

Not everyone is computer or cell savvy.

Traffic on the 405 from Long Beach to LAX is heavy even on Saturday.

Hurricane Norma is supposed to hit Cabo on Saturday and Sunday. Has anybody heard if there is a destination change on the Discovery Princess?

An olive pit in a lobster cake is not normal.

Woo Hoo they have Jermann! One of our favorite Italian wineries!

Next time try J Trani's or Trani's Dockside. We like both restaurants better than 22nd Street Landing.

We did a private wine tour several years ago. It was very good. I believe we used Baja California Wine Tours.

That would be Pancho. He was probably looking for bait fish. He is very picky. Only likes live bait!

We had a 2 bedroom suite in the Haven on the NCL Epic. The Haven was great but anytime we left the Haven the ship was way too crowded. Agree about the casino area. It was very smokey. Common areas were difficult to navigate and we found the specialty restaurants average at best. Not worth the extra money. The food in the restaurant in the Haven was good The butler was outstanding. The concierge did a horrible job. We requested a reservation for the Chef's Table when we booked the cruise. We also reaffirmed our desire to attend prior to boarding and when we boarded the ship. The second night of the cruise we were sitting at the bar in the Haven having a drink. A couple who had an inside cabin was sitting there. They told us they had been invited to the Chef's Table because someone cancelled. They requested a reservation for the Chef's Table when they embarked. They said they didn't even know there was such a dinner. Fast forward a couple of days to the second Chef's Table. 7 people cancelled because they got too drunk in St. Thomas. We find out right before dinner they cancelled the Chef's Table. I suspect they knew this earlier in the day. They did not handle this well. This was not a cheap cruise. This and the issue with the common areas turned us off to NCL. We have found Princess to be more our style. We have enjoyed all of our cruises on Princess. They are a better value.
