I agree I feel worse watching the horizon or the side of the ship going up & down But still prefer an outside cabin 😉

I think most ships tours have some sort of "shopping" included even when not in the description Actually I enjoyed the rug demo in Turkey ..we were not harassed to buy unlike a few shops in the town LOL

I do not get seasick very often so may not have the answer for you but many use the sea bands ..works with pressure points no meds I found if I am queasy take some flat ginger ale & sip it or ginger capsules Some lines will have candied ginger out or green apples ...just ask Go to the lower decks mid ship until you feel better We have had some rough seas & this works for me but it may not work for others

yeah & the Texans complain when it gets below 65F 😄 I have family in w Texas & Houston area they cannot take the nice temps & let's not mention that 4 letter word s**w LOL

You are not forced to buy anything onboard Set a budget before you sail be sure to include the gratuities if not pre paid most lines have no charge for coffee /tea/tap water If you want all inclusive try Regent but you will pay more for the cruise than main stream lines

I bought a small personal humidifier for our cruise in Dec 2019 it worked very well keeping the air moist in the outside cabin

We have gotten cruise cough on several cruises No all had A/C running it was a cold weather cruise & we also got sick It can be the dry air inside but also people coughing & not washing their hands etc.. Last cruise 2019 DH ended up in the medical centre along with many others as we had been couped up indoors for several days during a nasty crossing which helped the virus spread Being on a premium line is no guarantee that you will be safer

I know you said you do not fit the "Country Club Casual " (whatever that means) of Oceania but they do have a lot of what is on your list https://www.oceaniacruises.com/special-offers/2024-around-the-world-cruise/ The Corkage fee is $25 per bottle if taken to a dining venue I think the ships excursion requirement is to do with the Country you are visiting if Covid measures are still in place JMO

Be sure to check the cabin cat that are available for the World cruise Smaller cabins & showers may not work for everyone

Book early You can also wail list when you get onboard incase of any cancellations ..we have gotten a spot that way

I would book as soon as you are ready Shop around for a good TA that knows Oceania & all the ins & outs of booking with them You will get lots of advice on what a good TA can do for you JMO

If the offer is on on the UK site not sure Pax from other Countries would see it or even be able to get it But yes I think since you are in a top suite you should get the same deal when offered to your Countrymen in the lower categories JMO

I guess the same can be said for any Countries you want to visit If going via a cruise ship you get a small taste of that port/area If you really want to "SEE" the Country go by land That said we enjoy the cruise stops then we can decide if we want to go back & see more via land trip Personal choice IMO

also if you have Tender ports where the ships drop anchor you will have that early morning wake up call

Only you can decide if it is "worth it " to you The Vista suite is more than double the size of a PH How much time do you spend in the cabin? Do you suffer from the motion of the ocean ?

When the time comes to pay be sure to use a credit card Good you have the money back put it in a good savings account & earn some $ Yes have you heard something no one else knows about with HAL going belly up?

What size ships are you looking for ? Max PAX capacity ? I prefer ships under 1500 PAX Most main stream lines are now 2000 + JMO

Did you happen to mention the T stat problem to Management ? I can never get it cool enough especially for sleeping

They are pretty much the same The production show have a couple more singers/dancers than the R ships I suspect the Vista will be the same ...time will tell

The air credit varies by cruise it does not always work out the way you suggest If you have a TA just ask them what the air credit is for the cruise you want 😉

But only if the pax clear the wait list while the offer is on It does sound like the offer is for UK at this time So not everyone will be getting the deal
