Pre Covid we used RSA & T.I.P.S You would need to check if they cover covid related expenses I read here Manulife was covering covid related but not sure if it was just medical Sorry not much help in the current climate

also depends on if you just want medical or trip cancellation/interuption coverage We do have Medical through DH retirement plan so we do single trip as we do take trip cancellation out & it has come in handy a couple of times YMMV

Are you in quarantine? or just taking photos? I feel sorry for the crew between having to dress in gowns/masks etc & worry about catching something from PAX

sorry to hear that you have tested positive & will miss the cruise Sometimes you cannot plan these things .."stuff happens" Life has a way of coming and biting you in the you know where It could be worse Hopefully you will find away to celebrate your Anniversary Feel better soon

yeah no other cruise line does that 🙄 Funny now there is availability on many Vista cruises for 2023 maybe not the ones you are looking for but I bet by the end of the year they will be booked up If people think that giving people a year notice is bad then sail with another line JMO

Do you mean they closed the Terrace Cafe?? Where did they have the buffet line?? On our crossing in 2019 the Terrace was open but the aft deck seating was closed off the seas were very rough so we stuck to the GDR

It may be fine on your cruise each sailing can be different it should not be but as I have said many times it depends on who is doing the cooking 😉 give it a try if it is not good send it back & get something different Make sure you talk to the Maitre'd BEFORE you leave the restaurant JMO

There are some lines that pre covid had chartered their ship a month or so before a scheduled cruise If that were the case I could see people being annoyed but over a year out ...yes disappointing but you have time to find another cruise 🤔

IME that is how it usually works We never asked for the mid segment onboard statement it was always delivered to the cabin just like other pax final statement

They usually do not change up the menus often especially in the Specialty restaurants maybe every couple of years they update the GDR menus sometimes they just add a few new dishes

I guess if you want to take a chance then get one upon arrival or be denied entry if you do not have a VISA if required It is very confusing for sure
