  1. YES on all the R & O class ships not sure on the Vista maybe someone will comment on that
  2. Why would you say that? Most premium & luxury lines have smaller ships & port personalized services
  3. UPDATE well they changed our flights again for Sept so maybe best to cancel the flights if they will refund me full amount GRRR Any news whether the pilots will strike in Sept???
  4. Can you ask NCL to cancel the return flight ? I do not think those on the ship have your flight details you usually tell them when you need to be off
  5. We had the same experience when we stopped in Key West non US citizens had to line up and get cleared before being allowed off the ship Hopefully you will not be delayed in Halifax Enjoy the cruise
  6. I would go up to Horizons or the front of the ship someplace Enjoy the cruise
  7. It could be the lifeboat capacity for the area is full so they cannot accommodate 3 pax in that lifeboat section bet they already accounted for 2 pax adding another PAX would not be allowed Each section on the ship is assigned to a specific life boat they have a maximum capacity Category Closed might mean the wait list if reached the max number so not going to wait list any more in that category Just guessing of course
  8. Here is the guide https://www.heathrow.com/connecting-flights
  9. it depends If we are very close to the ship we may go back to eat if not we eat ashore
  10. If you have SM your will have 2 logins From the FAQ on O website Wavenet FREE Unlimited WiFi is included in your cruise fare and you may access the Internet throughout the entirety of the ship, including all suites, staterooms, public rooms and outdoor decks. One login is provided per suite or stateroom, which may be used on one device at a time. Additional logins and upgrade packages are available for purchase on board. For your convenience, Internet-enabled computers are also available in the Oceania@Sea Internet Center aboard each of our ships.
  11. I do not believe anyone is forced to eat in any restaurant We do not eat in Jacques .. no one told us we had to go there 🤔
  12. Being Canadian she may have to clear Customs if it is the 1st Canadian port @emmy you may get the Customs card in your cabin before you get to Halifax we have not done that route so cannot say for sure
  13. Same in 1986 But you still need to follow the rules of Oceania to get on the tender
  14. NIT PICK It is EMBER THE TERRACE no "S" on either
  15. The A & lower cabin categories on the R ships never had tubs I think they may have taken the tubs out in the PH though we usually book A ,B or C cabin on both R & O class ships YMMV
  16. The OP is in Ottawa with elderly parents driving to a border airport may just be too much stress for them Even getting to YUL could be an ordeal with elderly parents with mobility issues
  17. showers on the R ships are the same they just put glass door instead of the pesky curtain
  18. Whether they get a reminder or not people should always make a note of the date it is due maybe even put the date a few days earlier JMO
  19. They mentioned the Caribbean Marina is doing South America but if that works for them by all means include the Marina
  20. When they have excusrsion on disembarkation day it will be on the disembarkation form you get a few days ahead of time onboard Go to the DS & ask if they will have them so you can make your choice early in the cruise
  21. When you are ready to get off go to the lounge a bit before then get a number & wait for it to be called Once the Oceania tours go & sometimes they will put DIYers on the same tender They do a head count for the tender when it reaches the magic number you wait for the next tender usually they open tenders up to all about 10 am or soon after then there is no need to go to the lounge Just read the instructions in the CURRENTS the night before enjoy
  22. Could be your question is unanswerable as no one really knows what airlines Oceania has contracts with now 🤔 JMO
