  1. Would a transfer be more than the custom air fee 🤔
  2. Ed A lot of posts here are speculation , wishful thinking & mis information I would wait & see or try to switch back to your original deal then just buy a 2nd wifi account is you need it JMO
  3. I believe it is CYCLO it is listed in the Bon Voyage gifts https://www.oceaniacruises.com/documents/bonvoyagegifts/26643/Bon-Voyage-Gifts.pdf
  4. What deck were they on ? That could be the difference
  5. if you take your own wine to dinner they are still pouring it for you & you pay the fee after SM if you take your own wine to dinner they will pouring it for you ..probably with a fee time will tel
  6. It would be fine spring & fall but in winter maybe not Too many sea days in a row for me on the HAL route
  7. If bringing your own wine after SM would be saving them money why are they charging the fee now 😄 no difference IMO
  8. Well then they must be correct if they are an O Rep 🙄 from Oceania website https://oceaniacruises.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006547473-Can-I-purchase-bottles-of-wine-at-ports-of-call-and-bring-them-on-board-
  9. never been on those so cannot comment
  10. Depends on the quality you want There is a CVS / Whole Foods close by ABC liquor store on 1st ave ? Publix at Brickell you can take the free trolley Google "wine stores" there are probably others
  11. pre covid we booked them 9 mths out but just keep checking in your online account to see if they are listed
  12. There are no wine glass police around the ship so people abuse the privilege 🤔 Maybe Oceania will close the loophole & stop allowing people to bring their own wine/spirits onboard .....probably not Come Oct it will be a non issue There are always a few in every crowd that have to push the limits 😄
  13. they can take the bottle to a dining venue no charge same for anyone that gets the wine or champagne as a gift in their cabin the no no is taking a glass of wine or spirits people do it but it is against the policy
  14. Usually no you should not take a glass of wine from your cabin to public spaces you can take a bottle of wine to dinner if it came as part of the suite package for no charge You can take a bottle of wine you brought onboard to the dining venue & pay the corkage fee Spirits should be for cabin use only
  15. I would agree the differential is OTT Did you ask for Premium seats?? I thought they only charge the fee once you agree on the flights offered has this changed ?
  16. I would try for 6:30 or 7 pm just tell them you would like to see the show but I think you will be done by 9pm Be sure to join the Roll call https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2802094-september-29-to-october-14-2023-colonial-america-montreal-to-miami/page/24/#comment-65792459
  17. That does not seem right that you have to pay for something that is included 🤔 I would be questioning that
  18. I would weigh the cost of flying to MIA & transport to the hotel & the cost of flying to FLL & transport to POM or Miami hotel If the flight to FLL & the extra cost to get to Miami is less than the flight to MIA then look into that option For a larger group you may need to find a private transfer company like those listed above Good luck
  19. Yes I figured that out 😄 Hopefully by Oct they will have something on their Government website to obtain the VISA online like other Countries do
  20. I agree I would take a nonstop any day over connecting This past year or so the airlines are switching & swapping flights all the time Had a nice non stop to YUL now we have a connection in YYZ Going to practice my "Carry on" packing skills 😄
  21. I do not think I have heard of anyone getting bumped at the port check in I am sure if they did they would find cruise forums like CC to yell about their treatment by Oceania This is a reason I never book a GTY or waitlist ..I could not survive the stress of waiting 😄 Enjoy the cruise
  22. I guess it depends on their location onboard I cannot sit in the lounge or Horizons closer to the front But we usually have a cabin mid ship or aft & there is some motion in heavy seas but the O class ships are the same
  23. Or maybe if you both want to shower in the same time frame but not together 🤔
