I would make sure you can use the bus transport some lines only will take people arriving on a flight FLL you can get to baggage claim area where the Rep will be so as long as your name is on the list they will check you in If flight time is needed just look for a flight arriving near the time you want to be on the bus & give them that info I am sure they do not check the manifests

Usually they do not have that many announcement (certain CD's feel the need to chat ) If we are in the cabin we will put the TV on the bridge cam station mute the sound or just listen to the music if we hear the loud speaker outside then un mute the tv When ship had the options to have the sound on for the announcements some (me) would forget to turn it off then in the early morning it would scare you awake 😲🛌 I guess there is a reason they no longer have the switch to control the announcements JMO emergency announcements will come into the cabin no matter what

it never hurts to ask Hotel/car rentals etc give discounts to CARP members

It looks like they are just making it easier to get the VISA & not having to jump through as many hoops as before A lot of Countries are now doing E VISAs

a waitlist is not the same as a GTY they will make offers to those confirmed in a specific cabin to move off the cruise so those with GTY booking will be accommodated some will take the offer some will hold fast to their booking Waitlists are not guaranteed to get a cabin it is gamble that sometimes pays off they will make offers to clear the waitlist but if no takers then those on the W/L just get left behind

They used to have small plug in night lights but maybe during the refub they tossed them out & I saw on some post the night light was built into the mirror under it Just saying I am surprised they could not find a plug in one

Well even in the lower cabins you do not get announcements in the cabin unless it is an emergency You need to have the TV on the Bridge Cam or run to the hall to hear the announcements Also no problem with the night light in the lower categories I am surprised your housekeeping staff or the butler could not get one for you JMO

It used to be if it was a port stop you could enter VISA FREE If you are flying in/out of Turkiye you would need an E Visa https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ From the Turkish site https://www.mfa.gov.tr/frequently-asked-questions.en.mfa Having 2 port stops but not staying in Turkiye ...you may want to contact them for clarification

No I did not miss the point You could ask the powers that be at the cruise lines how they are distributed

They usually do 2 or 3 mth stints then off for 2 mths etc...
